Das Edelweiss is truly a gem of a hotel. Very clean, absolute first rate breakfast and late afternoon snack. Next to train tracks but not noisy at all. The family who runs the property (Klaus & Victoria) are friendly, super professional and tend to your every need. You really don't need a car though the hotel does have parking. Gondola is a 5-10 minute walk that's delightful and very easy. The hotel itself has lovely, simple rooms that fulfill every need we had. Highly recommended for families, couples, skiers, cyclists and really anyone who wants to relax in Kitzbuhel.

The location was extremely practical, in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk down a footpath along the railroad about 250 meters from the Hahnenkamm Bahnhof. The 30-room property offers guests a low-key but high-quality stay, with a breakfast selection that includes eggs to your liking and local cheeses, fruits, yogurts and all other essentials to get your day off to a good start. A small spa area includes a relaxation room and sauna, and the ski room is secure and has boot driers and ski racks as well as combination lockers for small valuables. The garden is a charming space to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors, with views to the main mountain of Kitzbuhel. A short 5 minute walk will bring you to the town center for shopping and restaurants, as well as to the Hahnenkamm ski lift. The Edelweiss gets my highest recommendation for any visit to Kitzbuhel, whether in winter or summer.

The hospitality of the owners, Klaus and Veronika and their niece, Sofia and all the staff is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and willing to chat with you. It is lovely to spend some time in the early evening where they put on a complimentary soup and buffet meal. It is only a ten minute walk into the town and five to the gondola so a good location but also quiet as it is just out of the hurly burly. We've been 3 times over 20 years, but they still remembered us and asked after our family. If you love the best service and a wonderful friendly atmosphere, this is the hotel to spend your winter or summer vacation in the mountains!

Dear Klaus and Veronika, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional experience I had during my stay at Hotel Edelweiss in Kitzbühel. Initially, I had planned to stay for four nights before heading into the mountains and then moving to another hotel. However, after the first few days at Edelweiss, I decided to extend my stay with you — and no.truer or more heartfelt a testament to the outstanding hospitality and comfort you provide is possible than that. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel exceptionally welcome, as if I truly belonged. Veronika, your elegance and radiant warmth created an inviting atmosphere that permeated the entire hotel. Klaus, your efficiency, organization, and helpfulness, combined with your delightful sense of humor, made my stay both enjoyable and memorable. I especially appreciated your polite laughter at my less-than-stellar attempts at humor. Sophie and Theresa contributed significantly to the homely ambiance, ensuring that the brilliantly organized routine felt just like home. They are charming and beautiful too. After spending three days in the mountains, returning to Edelweiss genuinely felt like coming home. And a genuine relief too. The tasteful décor, fantastic rooms with perfect comfy mattresses, and balconies offering stunning mountain views exceeded my expectations. The sauna facilities are superior to those in many five-star hotels I've visited. The excellent and copious food, the endless supply of coffee and tea, and the honesty system at the bar providing 24-hour refreshment availability were all remarkable touches. In fact what I realised in the train to Vienna is that everything you offer is adorned in finishing touches. No detail is overlooked and so many finishing touches means that the whole trip feels .genuinely unimprovable Should I return to Kitzbühel, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, very close to the centre and within easy reach of the Hahnenkamm ski lift. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcome. Check-in was informal and accompanied by a lovely glass of red wine, which was such a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and the complimentary food provided between 4 pm and 6 pm was a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Klaus and Veronika were incredible hosts and made everything about our stay that much better. From the complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea, the hospitality provided was the best we have experienced in Europe. Nothing was too much trouble, they answered every question and query and were always welcoming. The hotel was extremely homely & spacious and we would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Beds a little bit hard, but room was spacious & bathroom was huge. Heaps of storage space which made up for it!

Very well equipped hotel. Amazing facilities with a sauna overlooking the main slope into town and a well equipped gym if you have any strength left after a day on the slopes or hiking. The owners and staff were all very attentive and helpful and always on call when needed. Extra touches like the tea after skiing and the honesty bar and free tea/coffee facilities were also great. Just a 6 minute walk to the main lift up to the slopes.

The piped music throughout the hotel (including the sauna etc where it was too loud to relax properly) was a little bit too much some of the time. Though of course you could not hear it in the rooms! Also as is usual in Europe, the hotel pillows were like a couple of cotton wool balls in a sack! Why not provide something of quality when you have a hotel this lovely.

Probably the nicest staff I have met at a hotel/BnB in Germany and Austria. The family were so welcoming and helpful. The property is immaculately clean and nicely decorated. They have managed to keep the old style BnB atmosphere while adding facilities like a sauna/gym etc that bring it to hotel standards.

The sauna was not open in the mornings but only in the afternoon - this makes sense in winter but would be be nice if it was open in the morning in summer (it was too hot in the afternoon to really use it).

This is our second time staying at this hotel and we loved it just as much as the second time. We were first here in winter for skiiing but its just as nice in the summer. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the hotel staff could not be more welcoming or accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful views and the location of the hotel is perfect. Its quiet but still very close to everything in Kitzbuhel. We can't wait for our next visit!

Perfect location for those who are going for skiing. Short walk directly to the Hahnenkamm ski lift. There are also great restaurants and spa at a walking distance from the hotel. The room was comfortable, the breakfast had great coffee and perfect scrambled eggs and the hotel offers an end of the afternoon snack buffet, with delicious cake. I would highlight the hosts are extra nice, which gives a more personal touch to the stay. I recommend this hotel and would definitely repeat this stay.
