Nuuk is overall small and very walkable, but I thought the location of this hotel was perfect as it was less than five minutes away from the main street while still being fairly close to the docks/water areas. The room had everything we needed. I loved the view of the street and the mountains, the room had a large window right up against the bed! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had a good selection. The wifi worked perfectly the entire time we were there, probably the best wifi in Nuuk! The breakfast area is connected to the check-in area, and it all basically turns into a cafe during the day. While waiting for our transportation back to the airport, we were able to order a drink and just hang out for a few hours. There is also a very secure luggage room where we kept our bags after check-out.

It wasn't a problem for us, but the room is very tiny! We had to be strategic about where we kept our bags as to not step on anything. The cafe was a great space to kill some time before our flight, but the bathrooms are locked away in the basement and require staff to open doors for you.

United cancelled our flight back Sunday, July 6th to Newark airport and Greenland Air booked all the hotel rooms in Nuuk, including both HHE. Either airline were much help and left us on our own. Semisi at the front desk helped us arrange another hotel apartment in Nuuk, to accommodate our party of 4. She was an exceptional help finding another hotel, HHE was far more helpful than both United and Greenland Air.

The mattress and pillow was not as comfortable as other hotels. Could use a mattress foam or a thicker mattress and additional pillow.

This review is actually for Hans Egede Hotel! I had booked HHE Express, its low(er)-budget partner, but on check-in was told I had been upgraded to Hans Egede (500 m up the street) as they were full. Hans Egede was great, certainly the best place in Nuuk. Very spacious, comfortable room with a real double bed which is quite rare in Scandinavia. Great breakfast with a view on the fifth floor (were there is also a good and rather classy and pricey Steakhouse restaurant). Only experience with HHE Express was staff at reception which was great, as in Hans Egede as well. Don't know what the usual rate would have been.

The room was beautiful!!!! I love the colors and design. The bathroom was quaint and perfect. I love the shower and everything. The room and hotel are VERY CLEAN. The staff is fantastic, incredibly helpful and nice. The bed was very comfortable. I love your hotel and will definitely stay again on my next visit to Nuuk.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! Thank you everyone. For example, my suitcase did not arrive, and the staff were really helpful in making sure I could get to the right shops to buy clothes.

I would like more options in the breakfast, including some hot food options. Probably the biggest problem for me was that there was no decent coffee available in the morning, first thing. Having a barista available on the coffee machine at breakfast time would have been great.

Not particularly good view from the room

A really well located hotel with quick walking access to the centre of Nuuk. The staff were exceptional and always very happy to help. The room was a good size for a single traveller and the bed was very comfy.

The only things which could have been improved would have been a slightly more stable wifi signal and perhaps a small kettle in the room for making tea etc.

The location was great close to everything. The breakfast was good and the staffs were very helpful. My flight was canceled due to the weather and the hotel accommodated me for one more night. Overall I had a lovely stay !

Nice affordable hotel very close to Nuuk centre, very good breakfast and good coffee from their Café X, helpful staff. The rooms are small but enough for a few days stay.

Central location and practical no-nonsense facilities. Great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and simply excellent in terms of assisting durimg our stay 👍
