Erika and Francis were wonderful guest givers(10 of 10) , the B&B has a charm of its own and we where made to feel comfortbable. The building shows it is 600 years old but that makes the stay worth while the character of the building is given to the small details warmly laid out. The Tea selection immense and overwhelming but tasty.. for the price you cannot complain. the Breakfast was Wonderful. if ever being in the area again i would choose this definitely again.

For me the only problem was the matress being to soft but that is my personal taste and opinion.

For a car, the location was pretty good since there was a car park nearby that you can use for free. There are good restaurants within driving distance as well as the city of Rotterdam and other things. Breakfast was generous and the room had a pleasant vibe. It's basically a 'mom and pop' shop which felt more authentic and sincere than you'd get with the bigger chains. The host clearly communicated an interest in making our stay pleasant.

Having an in-room toilet and bathroom would have been more convenient, but it wasn't a major hassle since there aren't that many rooms using it.

Everything we needed was there: a cozy room with comfortable bed, access to a shared bathroom, fresh towels and a little space and provision to have a cup of tea or coffee. We had a comfortable stay. We did not try the breakfast offer. There are a lot of lovely details to be discovered around the house.

After the first day we knew the bathroom cleaning times (earlier than mentioned on the wall). The information email from via booking.com is quite long and needs some studying to find the relevant information.

The host is strict and ever so kind. Price is very friendly.

The day before I recieved an sms with instructions that stated that arrival after 22.00 would be disrespectful to the host. I am not used to the tone of voice of that message. Apparently it's needed since there had been 2 cases where other guests had made a situation that could have led to losing the permit potentially.

We had a very friendly welcome to this small B&B. The building has plenty of character and there are good facilities for making drinks in the room. We chose what we wanted for breakfast the night before and everything was laid out ready for us the next morning and very tasty. Space very nearby to park our motorbikes which helped a lot as well. We were directed to the pub/restaurant over the road which served a great evening meal, too.

Nothing to dislike here really, it was a great overnight stay. We got confused which door to knock on when we arrived, but that was only a minor issue (it's the dark blue one with a doorbell, not the black door with a knocker!)

Lovely welcome from the hosts! Rooms tastefully decorated, beds comfortable, we spent a very good quiet night. Awesome breakfast, kids even got some sweets from the shop for free!

We had not realised that the bathroom would be shared among the 4 rooms... When booking we did not read the detailed description of facilities available. But luckily the other rooms were unoccupied so we ended up having all facilities to ourselves :-)

Arrived , a lovely warm welcome, amazing rooms all in theme of Alice in Wonderland. So quirky and fun. A really old building , big rooms, with great coffee and tea facilities. Close to a shop so good just to buy any essentials, or nice cakes. The breakfast was superb, an amazing spread, and lovely intro to the Netherlands. I would def return here.

The owner lady was super friendly and helpful! The house is very old (600 years) but renovated and decorated nicely. There are 4 rooms to stay and also 3-4 toilets with 1 bathroom which is enough for all people staying there. The breakfast was perfect!

Nothing much to dislike honestly. It would only be better to put a board outside of the house since it is not very clear where the entrance is.

the atmosphere is amazing, the owners are really nice people, looks like a family business. the breakfast is amazing, many things to choose from. everything is local produce. tea and coffee are great. Rooms are simple but it’s a bnb in an old authentic house. what an experience! the town itself if magic too.

The hosts were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so cozy in the amazing dining room. The decor and the beautiful old building was truly “gezellig”. Lovely room and I slept very well.

A little noisy from other guests in the hall and stairs. But with an old building like this it can’t really be avoided. Still slept well.
