The staff on reception and serving food were really very polite and accomadating , and helpful . Lovely that very pet friendly too

The screaming 😱 kids thst were allowed to run riot as your trying to have a convetsation andxeat your meal. Sorry to say this but two hours listening to this was not helpful and considering all the digs behaved impeccably...need to look at the ruling for this it is not what one expects when out to eat ! Great you have children's area and you have rules for dog owners ..think rules fir parents should be looked at ...like no children allowed to run riot in restaurant area while guests eating !!

Great location, 10 min from the beach in a green environment. Stuff was very helpful and friendly. We asked a quite room and they took this into account. Very nice decoration till in the last detail. The food in the restaurant is very good, although no big portions. Excellent swimming pool. Very nice lobby, restaurant area. As a hotel guest you can use the pool on your arrival day and the check out day ( all day, even before the check in and after the check out).

The room is quite small. The lobby/ restaurant area is not only for hotel guests, but for every visitor. We found this very pity, cause there is a lot of noice and moving around plus constant smell of cigarettes, Plus the swimming pool is free for everyone who come to consume a drink or a meal after 4pm. Very noisy children in the pool at any time. Pity they don’t have a silent policy and you feel overwhelmed by all this outsiders. Otherwise it would have been an oasis of peace and rest. But even with these annoying points we enjoyed it.

The hotel is very nice. Surprisingly, it had a mountain theme (wooden furniture, posters of bears in the rooms and restaurant, etc.), and is surrounded by pine trees. I liked a lot the wooden chairs and tables in the restaurant, very cozy. The single room looks small at first, but once you spend some time there you realise that it is very efficiently furnished with real wood furniture, and it has everything. The bed was very comfortable, much larger than in other hotels' single rooms. Rooms were renovated, thus everything is new. I loved the mini soap in a form of a tree leaf, which is also on the logo of the hotel. The area is quiet. Staff is friendly. Check-in was fast. Parking is large enough. I didn't hear anything from the renovation of the annex, because it was weekend and there were no works. The pool was not opened as it was not the season. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

The terraces are not separated as normal (just with a small wooden log), so sometimes you have the feeling you sit next to your neighbor, and you can see everyone and all terraces on the floor, who is there, what is doing, etc. It is also very easy for guests to look into the neighbors' rooms. The heating gets noisy when working on a higher temperature. Pillows are nice, though very high, so first night(s) may not be so comfortable. The kitchen in the restaurant closes at 21h, which is a bit early.

We got a room in the recently renovated wing and it was a really great one. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the walk-in shower was also a nice touch. The main pleasant surprise was though the restaurant. We had both lunch and dinner there, and the food was delicious, with some interesting options.

Due to the Rockanje Classic race that was taking place in that weekend, the access to the hotel with the car was rather difficult, and the parking place was not available - you could go in only very early before the race, and similarly get out of the parking only after the racing is finished. We were not aware at all of this event before our arrival, so maybe a quick heads-up from the hotel would have been great. Would have saved some driving around cluelessly and asking the police how to get to the hotel and where to leave the car during the race.

It s a nicely refurbished hotel with a canadian lodge style. My room was totally redone and nicely so. Comfortable bed. Dog friendly. Very large pool

Said before but the noise can be loud. It was ok for ys but you do hear outside npises quote well. The building is older but redone and well kept. The restaurant was very loud. The area around is ‘ok’. You have a beach closeby but are a bit interlocked on the island between the post or Rotterdam to the north and then tbe next island to the sourh. There is not a whole bunch to do on the island, in one day you have seen most. Which then means there s a bit of travel needed if you want to go north or south.

the bathroom facilities were all over the place; the toilet near the entrance of the room, and the basin and a massive shower/bath IN the room right at the other end. So imagine using the toilet in the middle of the night, and having to skip around the bed to wash your hands next to your partner's head. Weird. Amazing bath, but best used in the morning or you'll have the water vapour in the room all night.

Lovely and cozy hotel with nice interior, super nice staff and great location. The rooms seem to be freshly renovated and are very clean and have lovely interior design. The restaurant ist very cosy and charming and the whole area of the hotel is well kept and nice. It's super close to the beach, very quite and calming.

The Quality of breakfast is very low and for 18,50€ very expensive for what they offered

The hotel is located close to the shore (5-7 minutes walk), the staff is very pleasant and responsive. Upon check-in, you receive a map that lists all the local attractions. The breakfast is somewhat repetitive and limited (it would be great to have more variety, like porridge, corn flakes, fish, and freshly cut and peeled fruits). We had dinners at the hotel, and they were delicious with a sufficient selection of dishes. There are also several restaurants near the shore where you can have lunch or dinner. Currently, there is renovation taking place in one building of the hotel (we were informed about it in advance), but there was no noise during our stay, and we had a comfortable time. The pool is clean, but we didn't use it because it was cold and there were plenty of other activities around.

The trees and location. The whole staff was very nice and professional. The beach is just 5 minutes on foot, and the bikes we brought could be stored in a bike garage with an outlet. The look and vibe of the hotel were very relaxing.

Noisy and ineffective ventilation. That is not a dealbreaker.

Breakfast fine, even though they reduced much their previous the variety, e.g. for the breakfast on Muesli additions. The very narrow single rooms have been upgraded a bit which is a bonus, they feel a lot nicer now. The location close to the beach is excellent. The restaurant is nice.

The noise coming from the floor or the next room neighbor is almost not dampened by the room door / walls, they are too thin. So one has to be lucky to be in a quiet hotel area for a good night's rest.
