Location and breakfast were perfect

Receptionist were totally unpolite - we understand that rooms are not available before 3 pm - but when telliing we have a reservation getting the answer: come at 3 pm again is not what I expect. We arrived with a car (was announced previously). I asked where I can park my car. Answer: In Front of the Hotel it is just allowed 1/2 Hour. Then I asked where I can park longer. Answer: Go to the Garage - you will find it (there are 4 Garage entries Next to the Hotel)

Its my second time in the hotel. I would say it is near to where I needed to be but in Arendal everything is near....Lovely hotel. Fab without being pretentious, breakfast to die for (best we've had in Norway), views are fantastic, rooms uber comfy. Bath is spotless and well heated...All in call - a winner on all fronts. Oh...and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cant think of anything at all...even if I was to nitpick....oh...if I have to nitpick, I wish the ashtreys on the outside were changed more often....ouch...not very gracious of me to make the comment. It's a lovely hotel - just book there!

Superb hotel on waterfront . Ideal for exploring this beautiful town. If you're into yachts and boats you'll love it here. Also had safe secure underground parking for our motorcycle. Great breakfast. Don't miss the free viewing point lift over the fjord

Area is a popular holiday destination for tourists and Norwegians alike. Can get busy.

Central location in Arendal. The Ferry boat to Hisøy and Tromøy just steps away. Five minutes walk to Merdø ferry. My room had beautiful views second floor just short staircase to dining room. My room was very comfortable with great layout in bathroom. And did I mention the beautiful view of the harbor area.

Nothing. I grew up on Hisøy and knew I would love it.

Very good breakfast,excellent location,clean room.

Our room had partial sea view(corner room) and there is not enough space at the parking garage so you need to park your car with extra charge at a public parking.For what we paid for the Sea View room,I think the price was too high related to all that.

Great price/quality. Very spacious modern rooms, very pleasing atmosphere and nice views to the harbour. Amazing breakfast selection. Great amenities in the room (coffee/tea, mini fridge, wide selection of Ritual bath products, ...). We didn't use the hotel parking but parked in the cheap public parking house only a few meters from the hotel.

Would have been nice to be able to reserve a parking spot.

Best place in Arendal, great breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff, especially during breakfast, which was one of the best in the country. Great view and cosy room.

Room could need some more deep cleaning. No arrangements for parking, like hotel rate for the garage.

The room was comfortable and spacious, with a lovely view overlooking the waterfront. Very convenient location for the waterfront, ferries and amenities. The bedside USB ports were a bonus for charging electronic devices : ) Excellent breakfast buffet

My hotel of choice in Arendal, always confortable and with a stunning view on the seaside.

The only thing is, the hotel of this level could provide guests with slippers and, ideally, a bath robe. But then we are in Norway, many people just walk in socks at home...

The breakfast selection was wonderful, and the breakfast room was cosy and right on the water so nice view while we were eating despite the snowstorm!

I did not have any complaints about anything, frankly.
