The location is perfect - i walked from the centre of Thann where i was working for the week, it took me about 20 mins and was so peaceful, as you near the hotel the french houses are stunning, the surrounding woodland is alive with birdsong and the air is clean. There is very little noise. The rooms were clean and modern, the bathroom had recently been revamped and was fresh and modern. A nice balcony overlooking the woodland was a bonus. The restaurant is fantastic, the food is to an excellent standard with plenty of choice. The hosts are friendly without being overbearing

The breakfast was OK but was a little bit of a let down in contrast to the fantastic meals served in the evening. Its not really a complaint more an area where a little improvement in choice and style would really lift the meals to an incredible standard.

The staff were efficient, friendly, helpful. Especially as their English was limited and my French was even more so. Our room was very basic, however the restaurant and terrace was wonderful. The evening dinner was lovely and the Alsace wine was delicious. BRAVO HOTEL FLORIDOR.

Pillows were not comfortable. Lack of adequate tea and coffee facilities in the room. But no biggie!

The Floridor is a marvellous hotel with a great restaurant and a superb balcony/terrace. The room was lovely: we travelled as a family of four (two parents, two teens aged 16 and 18). We had a double room and the kids slept on bunk beds in their own adjacent space with a sliding door: this worked brilliantly (and they loved their bedside USB points and lights). Fantastic bathroom and shower!!!!! Very comfortable. A quiet, out-of-the-way location and incredibly peaceful. Nice forest views. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, out on the terrace and the food was excellent: the trout poached in Riesling was a joy. Breakfast did not disappoint either, also taken out on the terrace. A first-rate family-run restaurant that was a highlight of our trip. Memorable!

recently renovated rooms with luxurious bathroom. Nice and quiet location overlooking to the woods and hills, ideal for hiking and walking-distance to the city center of Thann. Free bottle of water on the room. Great restaurant and good breakfast with nice choice. Free parking.

The room we stayed in was a delight. Very stylishly decorated and furnished as well as comfortable. The shower room was excellent and there was a proper hair dryer, not one that was fixed to the wall. Our room also had a terrace with a wonderful view.

Restaurant was great ate on veranda overlooking the forested hill side, food was great well presented, good value. Accommodation was good very clean will happily book again.

Comprehensive dining and bar facilities, outside terrace on a quiet road leading straight up into the hills. Good for access to surroundings ie mountains etc, not so good if you want the centre of town. Great staff.

An excellent bedroom with balcony and air conditioning (bonus during heatwave). The hotel is situated outside the centre of the small historic town of Thann, just on the edge of a large forest. The restaurant has a terrace and the dinner and breakfast were both excellent.
