the photos are real, the location is amazing! staff is super sweet, food is good, view from the bedroom just a dream...if you dream of calm landacape with olive trees surrounding the place.

The location, the staff, the room, the restaurant and the food the were all fabulous. The Bodega is surrounded by fields of olives and grapes as far as the eye can see. The check-in staff were friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were both spacious and spotlessly clean with all the facilities that one would expect. Our dinner and breakfast exceeded all expectations and were cooked to perfection. So glad that we stayed here instead of a miserable corporate hotel. Can highly recommend the Hotel Bodega el Moral.

Everything was excellent !

The hotel is lovely, situated down a quiet gravel road, surrounded by vineyards and olives, and it is very pet friendly so we could bring our fur-child. It is perfectly situated as a well-priced stop-over when travelling between Portugal and Spain. The dinner was excellent, and the staff very friendly.

Everything was great. Google maps needs to update its location because it thinks that the hotel is at a ruin at the turn-off from the tar, but to our great relief it is 1,500 metres down the scenic road.

The hotel was almost empty at the end of October, together with another pair we've been the only guests. So it was quite a personal rural experience. The host greeted us, showed us around, and served breakfast and dinner - all alone by himself. The breakfast was quite limited, but the classical Spanish one and ingredients were fresh and good. We also could practice our Spanish with him and buy some local wines.

Because the hotel was empty, our room was freezing cold. It took us quite a while to bring it to the livable temperature. There was no heating in the bathroom whatsoever, so we couldn't use it at all. I wouldn't recommend visiting out of season. The location in Google Maps is wrong and points to some other Bodega nearby which is completely destroyed. So as we arrived at first, we feared that this hotel does not exist anymore 😊

Super stopover off the beaten track with great buildings and lovely countryside views around. The wine is delicious, dinner menu was extensive and breakfast was good. Room to walk the dogs. The largest bed we have ever slept in and very comfy. Will stay again.

Only finding the entrance to the track to the property, google maps has it wrong. It would be useful to give the what3 words location on the directions : ///combed.enforce.lime or ///diminuto.siendo.gaseoso The pool wasn’t open of course too early but it was hot weather!

Google Maps took us to the archway where you'll see a sign for the hotel. After that follow the road and you'll see the Winery on the hill, very easy to find. From the archway the road is a dirt track but perfectly passable as long as you're not in a low profile vehicle eg a Ferrari ! Upon arrival we were welcomed by Dragita one of the winery dogs. We were allocated room, it had a superking size bed with crisp white linens and fluffy towels. A bit of attention needed to the shower and a couple of items of furniture but nothing that affected the best night's sleep. It is so peaceful and the starry sky was fabulous as there is zero light pollution. The grounds are beautiful. A lovely large swimming pool and terrace. A varied dinner menu with their own delicious wines. The restaurant opened at 8pm but they were happy to serve us drinks before hand. Breakfast is included, super coffee, fresh orange juice, warm rolls and croissants. Will definitely return.

The staff gave very clear instructions how to find the hotel, and it was easy to find. We had a good sized comfortable room with a large bed. The restaurant had a good choice of dishes, and we ate al fresco in the courtyard, enjoying their own wine. The hotel is at the end of a long unpaved road and is in a very quiet location, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Beautiful location, easy to access. We were looking for a half way stop off with secure parking whilst travelling and found this by accident, it exceeded our expectations, dinner and wine were excellent a very chilled atmosphere. Excellent and friendly service. Even bought a few cases of wine to enjoy at home. Definitely return again

When reading the negative reviews on this establishment... We have to disagree, some of the negative review were far too harsh, it is what it is, it is a Spanish room in a Spanish bodega, its not modern build, it has character with modern conveniences and probably a lot of history, if walls could talk...

The availability of the staff to serve us dinner although we arrived at the hotel close to 10pm was great.

Breakfast was not that good but it was included in the price so in reality I can't complain. The location on Google maps points to the farm entrance. In the advertisement of the propertyIt it should be stated that after the stone gate, it is still necessary to travel about 2 km on a dirt road to reach the hotel and winery, unsuitable for sports cars, for example.

We liked everything the hotel is beautiful very clean and the food was good and so was the wine infact so good that we bought 4 bottles to take away.The comfort of the rooms ambiance of restaurants and the lovely pool also our dog was made to feel very welcome as we were.thank you we will return.

Just the long drive up to the hotel from main road up a very long unmade road wasn't prepared for it being such a long road.But it was worth it to stay at such a lovely peaceful place.
