- Friendly and welcoming host - Clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed - Perfect spot to relax on the terrace or in the backyard - Pub next door (occasionally not running), but if you bring a few simple ingredients, the fully equipped kitchen lets you cook anytime - Breakfast is included, but there are also snacks, tea, and coffee available throughout the day - On cold or hot days, the lounge with a fireplace is a great place to unwind

- Wi-Fi didn’t reach my room (Double Bedroom) 😅 - It’s a very quiet neighborhood, so the few passing cars feel extra loud 😅

Exceptionally prompt and polite staff. The Owner was absolutely lovely providing insanely fast response times to questions via text. He was extremely friendly and was very accommodating of our service dogs. I will say while our dogs are exceptional and host extremely accommodating. If you are planning to travel with service animals there is a lot of carpet so be mindful of that should you bring a service animal. However the location between the caves and thredbo was fantastic as it meant we could do both easily.

Delightful, restored old building. Excellent decor and furnishings. We had full use of kitchen, verandah and large living area. Host was engaging and helpful. Good conversationalist. Breakfast was included and was very nice: cereal, fruit, yogurt and tea or coffee.

Tooma is a very small locality. There is no town as such, so things to do are limited. You need to bring whatever you need, including food to cook. There is a TV in the large living area but it is quite small so we did not use it. There is no TV in bedroom.

the house was very comfortable . you have many common areas to rest, take a coffee or watch TV. the host was really nice, all the time paying attention to the guests and recommending places to visit around the area the breakfast was good

the windows of my room didn't have curtains, so the sun in the morning was really annoying but at the same time during the night was very beautiful go to sleep looking to the stars 🤩

Amazing location and Jeff is such a an amazing host. We had 3 rooms, all of them really nice and clean. Will recommend to anyone coming down to this part of the world. Nearest Pub is about 15kms away just on the other side of NSW VIC border. The Tooma inn next door apparently wasn’t too friendly with Jeff so he recommended us not to risk the rude behaviour from them and guided us to Tintaldra Hotel

Idyllic mountain holiday venue, near to the Snowy Mountains but also to the Murray River. Excellent breakfast, and other possibilities for refreshment. Equally good for an overnight stay, or something a bit more extended.

Nothing. Rooms and common spaces are roomy. Heating/cooling is as needed, depending on season. Located near to interesting towns, but itself on the edge of a farming area.

Location perfect. Stunning scenery. Welcoming host. We knew pub next door would not be open so brought our own dinner which we could prepare in the kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast. Various spaces to sit both inside and out. Found the downstairs front space a little loud as noise from the dining area carried through to there.

Expected a room on ground level. Instead we were in the loft space. We were a bit taken aback by this but actually found this to be a lovely room. More private than downstairs which opened onto a communal area. No opening windows however which meant we had to run the A/C. A pity in such a beautiful country setting. Bedroom very clean, ensuite spotless. However tables throughout needed a wipe over and I asked for a cloth for the tables on the front verandah as too dusty to use.

The house is beautifully maintained, very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Jeff was warm and welcoming to us.

The only thing we did not know before arrival was that there was no restaurant or pub at that location. We had to go on a 15-minute drive to get dinner. Jeff was kind enough to make a reservation for us at the pub.

My husband and I happened upon Jeff’s beautiful accommodations by chance—needing a break for the drive. This is beyond a gem—Tooma offers peace, tranquility, and the loveliest people. Jeff was an excellent host!

Nothing! I mean one could complain the big open skies meant for some really bright stars that shone and distract one from sleeping.

Breakfast was good, Jeff asked us what time we wanted have breakfast and made sure it was ready for us.

Just that the on-site pub was closed when we were there. We had to take a short drive to the restaurant nearby for dinner. Jeff was kind enough to call the restaurant to notify them we were on our way.
