We did not plan to go here but were stranded because our car stopped charging at the (nearby) Ionity fast charger. Leo (reception) was really thoughtful about our travel options and really helped us out. He truly understood my frustrations (with the car, not with the hotel) and even offered my a free beer to cool down a bit. Very friendly staff.

We did arrive at an empty reception (at around 17.00) which was strange. However I do understand the situation, it turned out that Leo's car was also having issues, he came promptly to the reception by public transport once he understood that we were needing some help. Much appreciated.

I liked the the room, it was ver modern and had all the things fro the nice stay. The reception was very friendly and helpful The side yard is very beautiful, it has a lake view. The check in and check out were very fast. The internet was good!

The restaurant was booked for the whole day, and it was a bit challenging to get the food services, as the place is not so close to the city center. The room was not sound proof. I woke up because of the loud voices close to my room. The breakfast (12 euros) was quite poor with choices. You can get a better breakfast in hotels for this price.

The lake view was stunning. We really loved eating on the deck that came with our room. Maria the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room we chose to stay in was newly renovated and very clean. My husband enjoyed swimming in the lake.

I had booked a bigger room, but that specific room did not come with central air A/C and felt much hotter and stuffier than smaller, newly renovated rooms. So I chose to stay at a smaller, newly renovated room. The downside of central air A/C is that I had no control of the thermostat and it actually felt quite hot at night. I opened the window for ventilation and plenty of mosquitos and other critters flew into the room. Next day, I informed the staff regarding the situation, and Maria was helpful and gave me a fan for the following night.

I remember the old Hotel Forst from the 90ies when I was a little boy. It’s nowhere like that anymore. It’s very clean, had a good night and the breakfast is excellent, with a lot of variety. Very convenient is the 24/7 check-in machine on the outside of the complex.

In the room we stayed in, the flushing of the toilet in the upstairs room was very audible.

Staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed one night here on route to Switzerland. Proximity to the motorway good without being too close. Bar and restaurant were closed as most are in Germany on a Sunday evening. So we came prepared and ate on our balcony overlooking the lake

Very clean and silent. Close to the highway so very convenient during long trips as a rest stop. I was surprised by its delicious cuisine.

Reception closed upon arrival Sunday. Check in proces via screen for two room was too time consuming and tedious after a long trip. Staff at reception following morning was friendly

Everything, ease of getting there, just off the main highway. Staff could not do much more, explained everything, and were very welcoming. patio for drinks next to the lake, relaxing after a 6-hour motorbike ride, just what we needed. food of a high quality too. Definitely recommend to others, especially to my biker friends.

The room had good space and modern decor. The location was near a small lake, offering a nice view.

Kettle in the room is missing, and there are also no hooks in the bathroom. Location makes car mandatory.
