The hotel is on the site of the WW1 Machine Gun Company Base (our grandad was there during the war) so perfect for exploring. Staff friendly though didn’t speak any English. Nice restaurant on site. Good car park.

Quite a small bedroom, no place to sit in. The bathroom had a sliding door that wasn’t flush.

Bijou, basic room with everything as described on booking.com Staff were lovely. Good main courses, very tasty. Ample parking and quiet location. 6 electric car charging points.

The starter to the meal we chose was battered deep fried prawns and calamari was not good, however the steak and turkey kebab we ate for our main course more than made up for it.

The location was excellent for us with easy driving access to the beach. The onsite restaurant served an excellent meal with really helpful staff throughout. There was a good continental breakfast served.

Everyone was very welcoming, the rooms were basic but comfortable and very clean. The restaurant was good with some great beers. We travelled with our dog and she was allowed in the restaurant and the breakfast room. We used this as a stopover after arriving in Calais and it was just perfect.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like.

Good location short drive from beach and around 45 minutes from Calais. Nice renovated room. Nice dinner in outdoor seating area.

No air con could be an issue in hot weather.

A good buffet breakfast without a warm option. A selection of cold and hot drinks, the placings were well laid out and easily utilised

Our room was very clean and comfortable with easy access on the ground floor.

The restaurant was a little disappointing after previous visits when it was very good.

We usually arrange to stay here when going to France on holiday. It is clean and comfortable and dog friendly which is important. We enjoy the breakfast and also dinner in the evening.

We have no criticism of the hotel.

the hotel was good value for money, I was made to feel welcome by all the lovely staff and as a solo person with my little dog this was much appreciated,as it was my first time driving in France on my own,if going to the area again would definitely be back
