Loved our room, very comfy bed, a table with two armchairs. I particularly liked the bathroom and separate lavatory. Lovely towels. Lots of cupboard and hanging space and a long mirror, plenty of room to put our suitcases out of sight. The baguette and croissants for breakfast were delicious with Monsieur's homemade jams and charcuterie, fruit and cake was also on offer. Madame was very friendly and welcoming. Great to have private parking (10 euros per day) but there was free parking on the road outside which looked quite safe.

Everything. We are a little bit biased as we have stayed before & we love the hotel & the town. We love it's rather traditional feel. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the family rooms accessed from the courtyard 😊 The breakfast is very traditional, partly buffet but local bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh fruit salad, charcuterie, coffee & freshly squeezed orange juice are served to your table on request. We stayed during the heatwave & a portable air conditioner appeared in our room. It saved us! The people are lovely and hearing them chatting to each other during their afternoon break, they clearly get on & enjoy what they do. Hopefully we will return & will look forward to staying again. That we had to leave!!

A great place to stay in this perfect French town, just a hop and a skip from the Channel. Parking is a bonus. We were given free use of the owner's EV charger- very kind. We've stayed here a few times, and it was nice to be remembered.

Le Coq is no longer cheap. When we first came, it was an absolute bargain, but our total bill this time was £165 per night, which puts it in a similar bracket to the swanky Chateau de Montreuil up the hill. We like it, so we'd go again, but we'd like to see prices held at this level for a year or two.

When we arrived, we were greeted at the front desk. We were given the room we had asked for--we had been here before. An ample breakfast was offered. The room was a good size. the bed had a firm mattress, which I like. There are several restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. We had reserved a parking spot and it was ready for us. Happily, there was an elevator for us.

We were 3 friends sharing a room. The room had very comfy beds, crisp bedlinen and pristine towels plus a mini fridge and windows that open! The shower was hot and pressure was good. The location is super central and walking to everything is easy. Staff were delightful and really happy to help.

The toilet was separate to the bathroom and it had no ventilation (fan or window). This is the only thing that could have been improved upon. But was not an issue.

Room was on the smaller side but certainly adequate. Desk and two sitting chairs with little coffee table. Mini fridge with some minibar items. Hot water maker with a selection of instant coffees and teas. Decent shower. Separate toilette. View of the court yard and restaurant behind. Very quiet at all times. Receptionist was very sweet. Found parking on a nearby street just a two minute walk away. (Also, if you like bats, there are several colonies of several species of bats that roost around town. See the map photo.)

There was nothing we didn’t like.

the hotel is in a good location in the centre of town and within very easy walking distance of all restaurants. The hotel was able to provide us with a family room which enabled us to have our dog with us. We were able to park conveniently in the street outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable : )

The room was darkly furnished and decorated. The hairdryer provided in the bathroom was terrible and we were unable to plug in our own hairdryer. We were able to turn the radiators down, but not off.

This is a small family hotel. It is excellent for a stop over. It is situated in the centre of Montreuil. The staff were very helpful. We had breakfast one day which was very good - fresh orange juice, fresh fruit salad and croissants (ham and cheese are also available).

There is secure parking for four cars. We parked in the main square as parking in the road by the hotel is very limited.

Since our last stay several years ago the Hotel has undergone some changes. The Hotel now only provides Bed and Breakfast. Evening meals can be obtained from the Coquenpot restuarant adjacent to the Hotel but we felt the evening meal choices were very limited. There are however some restuarants actually in Montreuil sur Mer within easy walking distance. The Hotel rooms are very comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast was very adequate but not of the same standard as prviously experienced. Secure parking is a great asset to the Hotel and customers.

Nothing we did not like about our stay and appreciate circumstances have changed since our last visit.

The manager is a most helpful, gentle person who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good for a very fair price. We have stayed there before so knew the property. Much appreciated the private parking (on a first come first served basis)10 euros a night is fair.
