Easy and friendly check in. Lovely breakfast with fantastic choice in a nice area. Room comfortable and shower room excellent. Easy short access down the road to the steps up on to the Ramparts with great views. Can highly recommend Le Patio as a restaurant - immediately attached to the hotel (make sure you book ahead) The food was fantastic and service wonderful - one not to be missed.

Parking was chargeable at 10 Euros - this information wasn't available to us prior to arrival (only that parking was provided/available). I feel that there should be more information on Booking.com about this.

I was given a complimentary room upgrade on arrival and that was just the start of a great stay in Montreuil-sur-Mer. The whole experience was superb. Breakfast was really good with a huge selection of different things to eat. I only managed to eat at the restaurant on the one evening, due to other pre-existing plans, and it delivered. Lovely food and great service. Then there was the room. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good power, room and temperature control. Everything was well appointed throughout my room. All members of staff were superb and a credit to establishment.

Almost everything was of high quality, and included the secure private parking behind the hotel. The owner/ landlady on reception helped carry our luggage upstairs, which was much appreciated as my husband had been ill. The Logis had been recently renovated in a very tasteful way, and our room was very spacious. We liked having the separate toilet and the shower room was excellent too. The location was perfect. The in-house restaurant with its excellent reviews was also very convenient.

Nothing really to dislike. We chose to eat at the in -house restaurant which has the best reviews of eating places in town. Unfortunately my husband was still feeling ill and could not eat anything other than a simple starter and despite it being his birthday could not drink wine either! I noticed we were charged the full price for his set meal despite my telling the owner that he was ill. This happened on both evenings we were there. I am not normally shy in questioning the bill but somehow I did not feel I could query it at the desk. The owner came across as being quite ‘formidable’. Breakfast was served in an adjoining old building and had no atmosphere or welcome feel at all. Our breakfast could only be described as ‘adequate’ with rather weak tasting coffee.

Room was a great size, bathroom only had a shower but was modern & very clean. Outlook from the the room was excellent, overlooking the courtyard & the spotlessly clean kitchen.. The thick closable curtains provided a blackout nigh time sleep. Tea & coffee facilities were adequate with a new like boiling kettle The breakfast was superb, great choice of cold & hot alternatives. Fresh coffee machine [ground bean to cup] plus a diy orange juicer. Good value breakfast

The toilet was separate across the other side of the room. This was extremely small with no handwashing facility. If sitting on the toilet your knees would touch the area around the toilet. This was probably the only disappointing aspect of the stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location. The hotel’s at the edge of a little square surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, also close to the ‘entrance’ for the 3km walk along the ramparts which encircles Montreuil; stunning on a sunny day. Free parking, you need to pop into reception to get a zapper for the gate, so we parked at the front of the hotel first. Very friendly staff. Our room was amazing and exceeded our expectations for a traditional French hotel. It had been sympathetically refurbished, still retaining charm. Loved the electric shutters. Very spacious, with excellent shower room. Spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel photos don’t do it justice. Very good WiFi. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. It is possible to sit out on the terrace but we sat inside overlooking it. We enjoyed breakfast, but some of the food needed replenishing. Meat and cheese looked as though it had been out for too long. There was no extra cutlery or napkins; so removing boiled eggs was difficult. We would have asked but there was only 1 member of staff on duty and she disappeared for quite a while. I think our experience was probably a blip, it was a pity, but it wouldn’t stop us returning and we will. Lovely place.

From start to finish, our stay at Les Hauts de Montreuil was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and directed to secure off-street parking, and our twin room in the newer part of the hotel was spacious and comfortable, with a terrific shower. Thoughtful touches like complimentary water, tea and coffee facilities, and automatic window blinds made for a relaxing stay. The service was outstanding—special thanks to the wonderful Madame who looked after us during dinner and at the front desk the next day, making us feel truly valued guests. She even helped with my faltering French! Dinner was simply exquisite—so good that I’d return just for the food. We ended the evening with digestifs by the open fire in the cosy bar, a perfect touch. Breakfast the next morning was equally delightful, with a great continental spread, delicious little sausages, and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were genuinely sad to leave and will absolutely be returning!

Great location and excellent secure parking. Lovely staff very friendly , warm welcome on reception and good English spoken. Room was somewhat small but that’s the booking we chose to make. Nice outside patio area to sit in and have a drink. Restaurant was very good ,we enjoyed our meal. Breakfast could have had more choice. Complimentary bottle of water in the room fridge. Right on top of the centre of Montreuil.

Extremely hot weather which made the room unbearably hot , there was a fan provided but not A/C .

A charming inn in a charming town - with a memorable restaurant. We had 3 rooms in the courtyard. All a good size and well appointed. This was our first stop on a drive to the south of France. We all said: This is a place and a town that deserve a return visit with more time (a long weekend perhaps). A short drive from the Channel Tunnel and close to Le Touquet and other sights.

We had a lovely stay and experience at the Logis Hôtel & Restaurant and would definitely consider staying there again. What was particularly special was the staff, from the reception and to the bar and restaurant; everybody was very friendly and helpful. We'd had a very long drive and when we arrived in Montreuil sur Mer it was raining so we decided to spend the evening in the very cozy bar and restaurant; this is in the part of the hotel that I believe is 15C so it was very atmospheric. When we decided to eat there wasn't a table in this area available so the staff were very accommodating and arranged for us to eat at the small bar tables we were sat around. The food was excellent, really quite high class. There were three in our party: husband, wife and adult daughter so we had a room in an adjacent part of the hotel that had a separate bedroom attached. All was very comfortable, although the road outside was cobbled so traffic passing by created a rumble. Montreul sur Mer is a lovely small town and certainly worth visiting if you're in the area. It has ramparts surrounding it which take about 45 minutes to walk around; the town was also the HQ of the British forces during the 1st World War.
