Location is perfect and it's modern and stylish

There is a great restaurant that sadly I couldn't use as although the hotel is very dog friendly the restaurant isn't! With no separate area to even have a coffee or breakfast

Nice new clean hotel an hour south of Calais. Five minutes from the motorway. Comfy bed with plump pillows. Enjoyable restaurant.

The bedroom has only one chair for two people to share. Breakfast was OK but the scrambled eggs were runny and the bacon was very streaky. However, at least we had hot food. We could not find any yogurt. The bedroom TV was naturally aimed at a French audience with only one English-speaking unimportant channel that we could find. The restaurant is not open every evening, so check first.

The location is perfect if you are travelling either from or to Calais, being just off the motorway. The hotel and it's facilities are modern and provide every convenience. The majority of staff are polite and helpful, and very welcoming.

We have stayed at this hotel previously and as you will see from my 'likes' we will stay in future because of it's convenience. However, both previously and on this occasion the reception staff are reluctant to reserve a table in the restaurant for you, and usually maintain it is fully booked. In practice the restaurant has never been full on the occasions we've been there. Fortunately the Restaurant Manager always welcomes you and ensures your meal is good, but the uncertainty is very frustrating.

Super clean, light and bright. Good sized room, good sized comfortable bed, full electric blackout blind. Large wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Modern, clean shower room with a double sized shower. Separate WC. Big window. Great restaurant, with good food and wine. Lovely outdoor terrace with plenty of tables. Generous car park.

Couldn't get the air conditioning to really chill the room, but it wasn't too hot so we didn't mind. Would have been different if it was much hotter.

Everything about staying at Le Semaphore was excellent. We arrived a little late but were still able to book for dinner and had a very enjoyable meal. Staff were friendly and helped with translating the menu which offered a good range of choices. Breakfast too had many products to choose from, all freshly made. The room was a good size with a window that opened and gave a lovely view over the countryside. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we would stay again and highly recommend it.

There was nothing not to like.

It was obviously a relatively new hotel, the room was clean, the bed was very comfy. The shower was brilliant and very powerful. It had everything we needed for our 2 night stay, plenty of parking and breakfast was a good selection of cereal, cold meats, bread and cheese, pastries and even sausage, bacon and scrambled egg. We came to watch the beach race at le touquet and this hotel was situated within a 20 minute drive of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful with very well spoken English.

A good room with accessible bathroom. Good walk in shower (or roll in) with plenty of handrails and a safe seat which is rare in most French hotels. Evening meal was pleasant enough but a bit pricey.

The bed was too low - needs to be a little higher for an accessible room. Anti slip mat in shower needed it was toooo slippery. Breakfast was disappointing - we were there at 8.30 (service until 10) and the hot food (bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs) was almost empty and not replenished even though 3 serveuses were drinking coffee in the bar area (they also didn't clear used tables).

New property and perfect location for our on route stay. Next to hospital. The room was great. The restaurant was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful with language translation, the food the best I’ve had in this type of hotel, full restaurant quality. The beer served was local and excellent. Breakfast was self service and excellent variety and quality.

The only down side could be is it suited us for the one night but a building site outside and not the sort of place for a holiday stay. But that should be noticed prior to booking. Last restaurant order is 21.00hrs

The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Facilities were brilliant, as a user of a mobility scooter I was able to get into the lift and my room with no problem. We stayed 5 nights and visited lots of places so ideal for overnight stays and long term.

There was nothing to dislike.
