Beautiful location but as we only stayed there for one night, arriving quite late and leaving early the next morning we were unable to make the most of it. The staff were very welcoming and the meal was excellent value for money. We were very surprised to find it so quiet, there didn't seem to be and other guests which is a great shame as this really is a little gem. The rooms ( we had booked two) were comfortable but not very modern. However they were spotlessly clean. I

A lovely place in a very beautiful, quiet location. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. As it was in a remote place, we chose to eat at the restaurant and had an excellent meal. A very good buffet breakfast was available the following morning and because it was a nice morning, we were able to eat outside.

Guests should understand that it's an old building, so the stairs are steep and the rooms a bit cramped. The bathroom didn't have a proper shower -- just a shower head attached to the bath and no shower curtain. Anyone with mobility problems should be aware of this, but otherwise it was a lovely place.

Calm, pretty location one hour’s drive from Calais. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely pool in courtyard and pretty garden at rear of property. Off road parking. Nice breakfast. Very reasonable room charges.

The evening meal menu didn’t cater for our family/grandchildren. Too sophisticated/restricted for a family hotel. Could do with a bistro menu as well.

Comfortable rooms accessible from the gardens, in a very pleasant setting. Nice terrace for drinks and evening meals on warm evenings. A good stopover just over an hour to or from Calais.

Basic breakfast room but with the option to sit outside when the weather permits. The pool is small, so we didn't use it as other guests were already in and around it.

Warm and friendly welcome. Rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. We always have a family room which is a twin room off the double room which gives the boys their own space to chill. Staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Plenty of choice and everything is delicious. We have stayed several times and will definitely be back.

Really impressed inside and outside. Lovely spacious room for a family of four. Enjoyed swimming pool. Great restaurant food and service.

Room was really hot at night. Electric fans did help a bit but didn’t sleep great unfortunately. But other than this a lovely place to stay and would return.

Good location and close to Valoires Abbaye and gardens. Parking at the property was easy and convenient. Garden to relax in with loungers etc and small courtyard swimming pool. Breakfast was good, and Pierre kindly made us a decaffeinated coffee. Good restaurant.

We had hoped to have eaten at restaurant on our first night, but it was closed. However, they did book us into a local restaurant which was very good but we did have to drive there.

A nice typical auberge. For families with kids there is a small swimming pool, a nice garden and the surroundings are very quiet. There is a terras, and the restaurant prepares basic dishes that are certainly value for money.

Personel was a bit confused to serve us at the terrace an apéritif but that came all right in the end. The breakfast could be a bit more elaborate to reach excellence. But decent for the price.

Nice room with a good view and outside sitting space, but very small. Swimming pool very nice, food and general ambience good.

Problems with the room door and lock, but taken care of.

Lovely location with nice walks, good, safe parking.

The fact that we were told that the restaurant was to be closed during our stay was disappointing, and we were only told this the day before we arrived. You don't want to have to drive to a local restaurant for your evening meal.
