Great host. Cyril couldn’t have done any more to make us feel welcome. We were welcomed with a cold drink (no charge) and fantastic rooms. Pool and garden were lovely. His son even booked the restaurant for us, which was fantastic. The breakfast was superb, as you’d expect from a guy that used to be a Parisian chef. Excellent selection of tea and coffee in the room. Great parking and an indoor secure area for bikes/motorbikes. (We were on motorbikes and very happy with the security). This is so close to a 10 for me, but not quite. I’ll definitely stay there again. Considering he’s only owned this place for a month, he’s doing brilliantly.

Very small points but I thought I’d put them here so Cyril can get a 10 next time. Toilet roll ran out and no spare. Most people will expect shower gel and shampoo in the room and there wasn’t any. Garden needs a little bit more work to make it exceptional. Needs internet instructions in the room for easy access. Needs milk in the room for tea/coffee. These are not complaints, just tips to make an excellent hotel even better. 😊

Very characterful and quirky. Our room the "Retro" was a converted stable very individual and spacious with food facilities. Breakfasts were exceptional featuring delicious local produce but the highlight for us was supper cooked and served by owner Cyrile a former Parisian restaurateur and chef.

Great place to stay. Very charming hotel and friendly staff. We were travelling on our Lambrettas and despite looking rather ragged we were welcomed. A covered tucked away area was provided for our vintage scooters too.

Christine was very helpful and welcoming. We needed to book somewhere to eat and she arranged it with an excellent restaurant around the corner from her place. There was also plenty of off road parking for the car, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh bread and croissants.

I could get an early check-in and they were auper friendly. Room was really big and super clean. Loved their shower (strong pressure). Excactly what you beed after a long day of walking). Breakfast was nice as well. Everything was perfect. I can highly recommend to stay there.

A lovely, clean fresh room overlooking their amazing garden, with a patio area directly outside. The owners gave us a very warm welcome. The area is very quiet but close to a small town and we found ourselves wishing we had planned another night stay. Breakfast with home made conserves and pancakes was delicious. We were recommended to try a local restaurant, La Garenne, which was very accomodating with a specially prepared vegetarian option for my hubby.

It is beautiful and clean and the owners are so sweet. They offer fresh, homemade and authentic French food with lovely wine for dinner. They even make special dishes for the kids. I don’t know how they do all of this themselves, it’s incredible. This was our second visit and we had a lovely walk into a nature area uphill from the property. so much to do, even just for an overnight stop-over.

Not much storage space

Very friendly hosts. They served us a superb meal outside in the garden. We also swam in the pool, which was great after a day's hard cycling. The bedrooms were lovely and so comfortable. The added bonus was that this accommodation was on the London to Paris cycle route. Could not fault this at all!
