Location on the north shore with forest behind kept the accommodation cool throughout the day

They are basic but have a Lovely sea view, comfortable bed, safe and fridge provided. Fresh towels, shampoo and body wash every day along with 2 bottles of water. I loved laying in the hammock first thing of a morning. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Main Street and a further 5 minutes to the beautiful Sai Kaew beach. When you arrive off the pier, it is a 6 minute walk to accommodation and you see there villas as you enter the pier to the right. Would use again.

I wouldn’t have wanted to have been in one of the villas near the pier, a little too close for my liking. Would recommend villas 1-6 if booking. I would also not recommend to anyone who struggles with uneven surfaces and steps.

Location is perfect, easy access to pier, village and short stroll to the beach. I stayed on the 'noisy' end (no17). A lot of people mentioned noise, but I really liked being near the pier, always something to see. Closing door with air con you couldn't hear anything so not sure what the fuss is about. I preferred staying here and going out to beaches rather than staying at a beach, some are quite a walk or ride, and that gets expensive if you want to come to the village. It worked out well for me.

Place looks a bit ramshackle. Place needs some love. Some of the paths are very steep and rocky where I was, was fine.

Location was fantastic, right next to the ferry and you could walk to the villas. Great view across the sea in fact literally on the sea Walking distance to the main town and the restaurants, bars and 10 mins walk/stroll through the town to the main beach and 5 mins walk to another beach in the opposite direction The room was decent and great value. Staff were good and helpful .. I would definitely consider staying there again

Personally for me Sunrise Villas was a perfect location and stay there was nothing that I didn't like

Excellent breakfast. This location would not be suited to persons limited in agility because the steps servicing the rooms are very steep.

The air- con probably needs servicing because it was not cold. The tap on the vanity basin needs replacing because it has very limited water output. The toilet cistern fill valve needs replacing because it is spraying water on the floor when filling.

The bed was amazingly comfortable and the view was breathtaking even with the pier so close. I was told I was upgraded and had a room very close to the reception and the main entrance, which was nice, since there are a few stairs to traverse. If you decide against travelling via Scooter at least two beaches are still in walking distance.

One should be aware that people might walk past your rooms so closing the curtains is necessary sometimes, but I wouldn't see that as a big minus.

The location is really nice! Especially if you pay more, you'll get the bungalow further away from the pier and with a nicer view. Note that you can't swim here though. It is not really private/secure perhaps, in terms of the lock of the door. You basically open the window/door and you have your bed - but it didn't bother me personally! Breakfast is available if you pay for it; didn't try it. Personnel is not really around, but maybe it was because I was the only person at sunrise villas for the first two nights. Overall I had a really nice stay I'd recommend it for solo travellers as it is close to the pier (convenient) and close to the Main Street full of shops/restaurants!

The bathrooms are not that great, a little old and rusty

We thought we had booked an individual unit- we did not realise that there were two units within one building and that the balcony area was not very private. Also, this space did not allow for both the table and chairs and the hammock. There were some red centipedes that crawled out of the drains into the bathroom during our stay.

We loved our stay at Sunrise Villas, the villas are cute and comfortable and the views directly from the room are beautiful, right at the sea with a constant light breeze. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, right at the harbour, next to shops and restaurants. The room has everything one needs, AC works perfectly. The terasse is spacious and even has a hammock. New towels, bottles of water, coffee, tea and toiletries are provided daily. I cannot say anything negative and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic views right on waterfront. Nice for relaxing on balcony Very close to ferry pier and 10 mins to centre of town.

Not a problem but beware of rocky steep steps if you are not steady on your feet.
