Cozy little cottages. Very clean. A small but lush and beautiful green area. We stayed in mid-June and had the entire place to ourselves. European-style breakfast included. The main island beach is within easy walking distance. Motorbike rentals are also available. The ferry pier is also within easy walking distance.

Mosquitoes. The owners do light repellent coils, but insect encounters are likely—pack bug spray!

We had deluxe bungalow facing the pretty and peaceful garden, own terrace with seating and table, great place to relax after day at the beautiful main beach, which is within a 5 minute walk. Close to all amenities, bars restaurants 7 eleven etc. Walking distance to pier 5 to 10 minutes. Very peaceful location, no noise at night. Highly recommended, with great breakfast variety. Cannot praise the lady at reception high enough, my wife had to be rushed off the Island to Bangkok Hospital Rayong, and she was an absolute treasure in helping us to facilitate this, I cannot thank her enough for this essential help when we needed it most! Be advised, there are no longer any ATM's on the Island, however there are money exchange facilities in some outlets.

Nothing to dislike!

Staff were great! Breakfast was completely adequate and I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings. The location is a bit away from the busiest parts of the island, which means you need to travel to the beach, or dock quite a ways. This is good though, as the property is so quiet and peaceful.

They flip their mattresses, but you can feel the springs from the bottom side. You shouldn't flip pillow top mattresses like this... Had to flip it back in the middle of the night. The location means you need to walk or drive to the beach and pier. Not terrible, but not great.

Room was cleaned and bedsheets/towels replaced every day. Breakfast was buffet style and had all we needed like yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, fried and boiled eggs, pancakes, sausages, some Thai food. The only thing missing was some real cereal like muesli (only corn flakes available. Coffee was great. Also really like the quiet location with lovely garden and outside sitting area but still close to town centre, all the restaurants and the beach. Beds were comfy and a/c worked perfectly.

Wifi was spotty, in and out (weak signal).

I've marked this down simply because the booking.com listing is a lie, I think whoever set up the property profile just ticked every box , without checking. There is no kettle, there is no children's play area, there is no hairdryer,there is no bath, the property is NOT wheelchair accessible (unless your wheelchair can go up stairs).etc etc. It is nice enough but if you are booking because of the facilities listed then think again as you will be disappointed.

lucked out this time and got upgraded to a bigger room, probably because it was the off-season. The whole place was really peaceful and quiet, and the room was spotless. The AC and shower worked perfectly, and the best part was that the hotel was right in the heart of the action on the island, so I could always find whatever I needed. Oh, and I almost forgot: guests can rent scooters from the hotel for 100 baht less than anywhere else on the island, and the bikes were super new and easy to ride. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, though - I guess it's a thing in Thailand, but the toast wasn't very good at any of the hotels I stayed at. But the other food was fresh and made to order, so it was still a nice way to start the day.

Amazing hotel! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay there. The rooms are very well thought through. Everything is made with such love and care for the guests. Breakfast is amazing. Every day something new. Fresh and delicious food. Every staff is super friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is superb-between pier and Sai Kiew beach, there are many places to eat and shop at around. We will definitely come back to this exact hotel. Thank you for making our little trip magical 🙏

It is a nice small hotel / apartment with a lovely garden and the location is excellent! Just a 6 minutes walk to the beach and not in the busy part of the Island. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. I booked 3 days initially but stayed there for a week! Don’t expect too much from the room but the price is reasonable, airconditioning is good, the bed is big and I slept very well!

Koh Samet is a bounty Island but there is a lot of s*x toerisme so if you can’t deal with that, do not go here

It's such a beautiful and unique place! A green oasis with an elegant garden, cozy and quiet, and yet next to everything you need. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated (we stayed at deluxe bungalow and then extended our stay and switched to the "deluxe suite" room). Rooms are a little less private compared to bungalows, but they have more upscale bathrooms). Honestly, I liked both. Wifi is fast and reliable, which I really appreciated. Breakfast is good and has some variety: eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, fruits, spring rolls. The owners are most helpful! We booked tours via them, and it was a great experience. Also, the daily room service with the change of towels is really convenient when you are going to the beach every day (it's hard not to bring some sand back:)). I researched a lot of options for a stay, and I think it's the best at the whole island!

Everything was perfect. We had some trouble renting a motorcycle and the ones from the hotel were already rented so the owner helped us find one and bring it back for us. The beach is 6 minutes walking away and the area is very calm. We highly recommend going there if you want to enjoy the main area of the city and staying in a calm and comfy hotel.
