Christian on the front desk is the best, very helpful and friendly staff. Overall very comfortable room and property with a pool, shared kitchen and everything you need (coffee machine in the room). Internet worked well and there was not much to improve

Loved the shared kitchen, the amenities in there, however, could be overhauled or improved for an even better experience (toaster didn’t work properly, ants in the shared peanut butter)

It’s very clean, quiet and walking distance to the town’s centre.

The hotel is difficult to find and is not well signed. My taxi driver could not find it (even after talking to hotel staff) so dropped me off in the area. I had to ask men working on the street for help. Google Maps didn’t help. I took photos of the exterior thinking it would help me when I returned at night, but everything looks different when it’s dark outside. I had to call the hotel for help. Very frustrating.

Its a cute place not far from the coast. The biggest plus was our host. He is just a sunshine that helps you out with EVERYTHING you need and is always available. We were hungry and very tired and he offered to order the food for us and even gave us recommendations. The room was spotless and it had a very nice smell to it (they must use very good cleaning suplies). It was a true Mexican experience.

This is a cozy hotel in a pretty good location. Although its a pet friendly hotel, we could sleep very well. The size of the room is big and the roof is very high, so it's very spacious. There is a lot of light due to the skylight the roof has. The cleaning staff, two wonderful ladies were very helpful and kind. There is no parking inside the hotel; the car has to be parked on the street but it's a very calm neighborhood so rest assured that it's going to be ok. In fact you can walk around securily.

The pillows are not confortable and the bathroom door is very close to the toilet so its a bit uncomfortable to be in the bathroom. And the light is in the back of the door. Can't understand why they put it like that...also there is no air conditioner where the toilet is so you can sweat a lot!

Booked on short notice and was super impressed. Helpful front staff, funky, comfortable room, with sitting room and very cosy bed. Shower a little tricky. Wonderful courtyard and pool area. Kitchen a nice touch (if tiny). Great location an easy walk to sites and across from quiet park. Didn't charge an arm and a leg for our dog. Excellent!

We really enjoy the stay here, the staff was super friendly and we were at 5 min from the downtown and the waterfront. Good restaurant nearby. The room 10 was perfect, comfortable bed, hammock, big shower with hot water, a/c. Nice little quiet place and also free water and toast!

Great and very quiet location, easy walk past a sports field to the center, easy street parking directly in front of the hotel. The courtyard and the small pool are quite nice. José (if I got the name correctly) was friendly. The room (#4) was very big. Free water (although I wasn't sure how to pour it from the big bottles). Warm water shower available. Ok WiFi.

I didn't like that music played on a device directly opposite my room. Not everyone likes slow-jazz piano music. The room (#4) was pretty dark, and the lighting is terrible. Warm color (<3000K) bulbs, and not just high up in the ceiling, but bedside lamps with shades which you can turn on/off from the bed. It's not that hard and makes a world of a difference to a room. Try to get as high a number as possible, higher is further in the back. Especially 1-4 seem dark, but maybe others on the ground floor as well. The pool needs more chairs (ok, there is not a lot of space, but still), then it could actually become some sort of common area. Not enough pressure in the shower. Mosquitos in the room. Facilities need a refresh.

Great location, close to town and sea. Large, pleasant room with comfortable bed on upper level. Communal kitchen with free supplies of coffee, tea, bread, jam, cakes etc. Helpful, friendly staff

Generally very quiet but, on one night (saturday), we were kept awake with loud music playing nearby until after 3am!

Hotel Maculís is a lovely boutique hotel in Campeche. Rooms are great. We had a two-floor room which was super. Staff is very nice. Pool is small but refreshing and there is even a kitchen. Old center is 5 minutes on foot. I can warmly recommend this place for visits to Campeche.

Most comfortable bed in Mexico in the deluxe suite. A beautiful room, raised up with a patio, worth the small price to upgrade. Room 4 for the children had excellent a/c and Internet. 10 min walk to historic centre and bars and restaurants.

Room 10 the suite had no WiFi throughout stay, supposedly being fixed day after arrival. Small inconvenience that did not affect the quality of the hotel.
