We stayed here for three nights. As you would expect in Thailand the staff are fabulous and we felt very looked after. Rooms are really beautiful. The pool and beach area are really nice as it is the happy hour every evening. There is also an easy walk along Khao Takiab Nuea Beach (south) to the Khao Takiap temple complex and the nice beachfront restaurants there which we ate it a couple of times and we are really good.

We booked a Zen jacuzzi pool terrace room and the only complaint we had was that it was not heated, didn’t get the Sun and as such we didn’t really use it.

The entire staffs of The Rock is absolutely lovely, they work diligently and always wear a smile on their face. We also love the bedroom, we were staying in Jacuzzi plus and it's absolutely phenomenal. The room comes with a jacuzzi pool that's quite small but sufficient enough for a bit of splash to get away from the heat. The room is always cleaned very early. They also provide nespresso machine for coffee lover like myself. Our favourite service is their laundry service. We generally get our clothes back very early and it always smell so good. The hotel provided shuttle service (which we used a couple of times) that brought us to BluPort, Market Village shopping centers and Hua Hin night market. It only depart 3 times a day but Grab is very easy to use there if you cant make the schedule. There is a small convenience store within walking distance to the hotel. Cicada and Tamarind market is about 16 minutes walk, we do not recommend walking in the heat though. The spa is also amazing, highly recommended, book early as they also closes very early.

While this is not particularly the hotel issue, the access to the beach isn't terribly easy, the area that linked to the beach is generally high tide and doesn't look very safe to go in. Jacuzzi, while sufficient for us, the pressure aren't that strong so it's not really useful.

10/10 will definitely be back...staff were amazing really friendly and helpful..our room was big with king-size bed the bathroom was massive..shower and bath..too our garden and private pool was a great touch we loved every minute of it..resort on the beachfront has a pool and pool bar make sure to go on happy hour as can be pricey but no big deal..hotel close to shops and restaurants..easy access to main town by hotel van,rent motorbike across the road or public taxi/bus very cheap too in all.a perfect stay..thank you Rock hotel for giving my family a fantastic experience

Staff so so kind friendly and courteous.Bed so so comfortable. Breakfast Buffet good quality and reasonable choice.. Pool and beach very relaxing. I loved the music walking to the pool and flowers. Cave massage very professional and massage area of pain on request. Thank you very much to ALL !staff for my stay. Thanks Dada for arranging birthday cake and singing happy birthday to my Girlfriend Nuna. Also big thank you to May for being fun and attentive. I also appreciated TV problem help from staff , thanks.

TV remote x 2 confusing for me for 5 days . At breakfast music lovely but repetitive.

Second time staying here and was a fantastic stay. Relaxed and quiet location away from the road. The room is spacious and comfortable and the beds very comfortable. Location excellent with numerous street food options and the markets nearby. Staff were wonderful and a thank you to Dada the guest manager whom was a real pleasure to speak with along with all the other staff here. Breakfast was good with a number of choices and good balance. Would stay again , thank you

The pool area is great and great pool by the beach, but there are a few choices if you like a shady spot , there are some really nice day beds to use but they don’t have any shade so it’s really uncomfortable in the sun. Would be a simple exercise to maybe put some shade cloth on them and they would be much more usable.

Staff were simply brilliant, always friendly and so so helpful. Location was excellent. Private pool was so good to have or head to the big pool which has a staffed bar and food available. The water was always perfect. We missed letting them know to clean our room and we asked just for towels, they came and did the whole room anyway...great service!

Really just the external tile appearance/maintenance of the big pool was a surprise for a premium venue along with a private pool that always had debris partly as the sun shade was full of leaves. This little private pool area could be so amazing with an update but these are not complaints. It would be nice to have plastic glasses so you can enjoy a drink.while in the big pool like other similar places in hot countries. However nothing was a huge problem or stopped you thoroughly enjoying this great place. Take mozzie spray though!

So much to like! Let’s first take a look that this hotel is right on the beach! We stayed 2 weeks in April and there was a gorgeous breeze all day, which made it very comfortable weather. You can lounge in the pool and watch the people go by. Comfy loungers and there were always fresh towels. The pool staff (and breakfast staff) are amazing! Great service with a smile and they know how to make great drinks. Lots of drink specials through out the week and good food by the pool. The room was spacious and comfortable bed.( we also splurged for the larger room with tub- amazing) breakfast is plentiful with a la carte or buffet hot/ cold choices. In the quiet area, but walkable to the Tamarind and Cicada Market. It was truly relaxing.

Not too much negative- there are some spots that need repair or updating but the gardens are beautifully kept!

Beautiful apartment, really huge must have been 150 sq mt at least, very high standard, fabulous bed and bedding (that’s important, great sleeps), private pool, fabulous shower, could not wish for better. Great pool, very warm, right on the beach. Note however at this time of year the tide is in during most of the day so you cannot sunbathe on the beach, swimming is possible after say 4pm. Staff are lovely, breakfast is fab-ulous, would stay here again.

From the UK I would say we come for sunshine (maybe that is just us, I don’t know). And the hotel has definitely provided plenty of shade, I think too much. The private pool we made less use of because there is an immovable canopy sharing it from the sun.

from moment of checking in the staff have been excellent from the chap who guides my car parking to the senior management it's been so friendly and courteous nothing has been too much trouble. The room I booked is a Jacuzzi pool room on the ground floor it's very well equipped a lovely rain shower large bath extremely comfortable king bed the air conditioning is very efficient so always comfortable in the room. There is adequate tea coffee supplies in the room. I used room service a couple of times and the food from there was delivered quickly and was very tasty. The breakfast buffet has a wide choice plus you can order extras like omelettes, noodles and the staff there so friendly. The swimming pool is of a good size with plenty of loungers with steps leading down straight to the sea. I would recommend this hotel as its quiet but things are easily accessible by constant flow of taxi buses or the hotel shuttle service

We liked almost everything about this hotel. It’s stylish, modern, well furnished. We lived in a suite and we loved it- there’s everything you may need, even wine glasses, a bottle of wine and a cocktail set. The staff is welcoming, the sea side is nearby (but not for swimming because of the waves), it’s quiet and enjoyable. So far my best stay in Hua Hin. Nice common areas where you can sit and work

The breakfast wasn’t really full of options, and it was almost the same every day. There was a hair in the bathroom sink, but it’s a common problem all over Asia - these long dark hair pretty much everywhere.
