The large bathtub in the room, the bed and the room itself are very comfy and designed for luxury.

The breakfast has significant room for improvement, and that’s why we did not give 10/10. We noticed some times not fresh ingredients: old stale crumbly bread, reheated chicken (that has a weird taste). Once we sent a dish back but the staff was nice enough to redo it based on our feedback so that was nice, but I didn’t really like having to do that. For the price and a 4-star hotel, I was expecting a more quality breakfast. There are lots of options, but I felt I could’ve cooked it myself at home and I am an average cooker. Honestly, there are cafes 3-5m away from the hotel that served excellent food so the breakfast at the hotel was a pity 🥺

Great safe location in Coyoacán a very short walking distance to squares, markets, restaurants and museums. The staff was wonderful and luckily for me did speak English. The room was very clean and luxurious with a very comfortable bed, big soft towels, a great shower and many amenities. They had several soft drinks and treats in the room as well as a coffeemaker and coffee. They even brought me tea in the evening. I felt very pampered. I had to leave early in the morning so I was not able to have the regular breakfast but they made a special takeaway breakfast for me. I would totally recommend this hotel and hope I can return for a longer stay sometime.

The only thing that would make this place better is an outdoor area to relax in the sun. It seems like they had a couple of tables and chairs in the courtyard but they didn’t look that comfortable. *There might be other areas to sit that I didn’t see.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The boutique hotel was very cozy, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel owners should be truly grateful for the amazing staff they have. The receptionists were kind, helpful, and always cheerful. Since I traveled to Mexico City for work, the tea brought to my room at night was very relaxing and the beautifully written notes from Ale were much appreciated. I also loved the neighborhood and its charming atmosphere. When I was leaving I asked about the place where they order their body lotions as I wanted to buy some for myself and they kindly offered a bottle of lotion with my name on it.

There is a small comment about the towels, as they were slightly stained, and their whiteness had faded, but it wasn't a significant concern. Thank you again, everything was amazing!

Fantastic experience! The best hotel we've stayed at in Mexico! Most comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, delicious and varied breakfast, with modern dishes as well as traditional ones. The location was also perfect, in the heart of Coyoacan, a green and very charming neighbourhood. The staff is so caring, friendly and warm! They go above and beyond to make sure that the guests feel pampered! There was no need that went unanswered. We feel grateful for the wonderful days we spent here! Special thanks to Ximena and the entire staff!

This was a lovely boutique hotel. Coyocan is a bit to the south of the centre, so needed up to half an hour in an Uber to reach places I wanted to go near the centre. Nevertheless Coyocan was a beautiful part of the city to experience, so I had no regrets. There is quite a bit to see in this area and there are lots of restaurants. There is a great square for people watching. The room was spacious, comfortable and stylish. The bathroom was nice with quality products. The staff were helpful when I had a problem with Uber (set me up on Didi).

It's a little tricky on arrival to know you've arrived, as there is no obvious signage. Not a show-stopper as clearly I found where I needed to be!

It is intimate and comfortable. Alejandra, Jimena, Gabino, Mariana, and Carmen were all very sweet and accommodating. They work very hard to make things right. For example, the power was out one morning. Besides getting it fixed, they provided us a gift box as a way of compensating - very classy.

Noisy sometimes. No soundproofing. For example, we were awakened at 3:30 AM one night by the guests in the next room returning from their night out - laughing and hollering and slamming doors.

Breakfast on the rooftop deck every morning was fantastic, and the room was charming and comfortable. Great location for exploring Coyoacan and area. The staff is the absolute best! Will definitely stay again.

Slightly noisy early in the morning when the upstairs deck is being cleaned. Toilet was a little tight for space if you’re on the tall side, but there’s another bathroom just downstairs that works perfectly. Everything else perfect.

Brilliant little boutique hotel hidden behind the residential-looking door in virbrant neighbourhood. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. There is even a plush bathrobe :). Breakfast options were plentiful and food very well made. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Walking distance to Frieda Khalo house, a market with a lot of food options and several restaurants and convenience stores are 2min away. I would stay at Agata in a heartbeat.

There is no lift to take your suitcase up the stairs but i did not mind and staff helped.

I had an excellent stay at this gem of a boutique hotel. From the incredible spa treatment I received to the personalized touches during my stay, I had a phenomenal experience. All of the staff were so accommodating and helpful. I received tea each night with a handwritten card from the staff member on duty and was greeted with a refreshing, cold drink when I arrived. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and with how comfortable my room was. Also, the hotel is incredibly safe, especially for a solo female traveler, as it is gated, and one cannot enter without being personally let in by a staff member. Additionally, Agata is close to a number of walkable destinations. I definitely recommend this hotel for solo travelers and couples. I hope to be able to go back again!

There isn't anything I did not like about my stay. I was completely happy with the service and accommodations.

Really amazing made-to-order breakfast, which was part of the reason we booked this hotel. They also had an evening tea service that went beyond my expectations and was a great way to end the night. The staff were very friendly and had recommendations for restaurants, outings, etc. The room itself was very nice and the bed was incredibly comfortable- I slept so deeply. If I was staying in this neighborhood of CDMX again, I’d definitely stay at Agata.
