The parking is right outside the door, wifi is good. Shower good a bathroom spacious. However, the receptionist made my stay better. At the start IHad a problem with my air con and she ran up 2 flights a couple of times to try to fix it ( no lifts ) in the end she gave me a room with air con. Also, at check in she was ready for me. Not only does she have a winning smile but smart and resourceful.

Power points at floor level. Breakfast mid week at Ollecki better than breakfast at week end at the sister hotel Imperial. It looks closer to Auschwitz museum than the 20 min walk to get there.

I recently stayed at Hotel Olecki and was absolutely amazed and touched by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. All three receptionists were outstanding, but one in particular went above and beyond. When I sought help at night because my husband started to feel sick, this wonderful receptionist provided lemon, tea, and tissues, showing such a great act of kindness that I'll never forget. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully provided with free bottles of water for all of us. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices, and the highlight was definitely the crepes—what a treat! Overall, my stay at Hotel Olecki was exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff and the comfort of the amenities. Highly recommended!

The location is just few minutes walk from all the main attraction on that city.... it has a restaurant close by on the next block ... Staff extremely friendly they help what they could ... even offer us luch box for next day trip, but was already included on our tourist pack on the bus.

You must take care where you book your tourist bus pack... most of the buses starts from Krakow, so maybe try to book directly from the hotel and you will have less travel up and down and will enjoy more the main sites.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was the only guest at the hotel last night (I guess hotels in the area don't get many visitors in January) but this didn't dawn on me until the next day. The rooms are old but quant and charming, very quiet and peaceful, very clean, very comfortable. They made a big delicious personalized breakfast for me for free and held my bag for a few hours after I checked out for free. The receptionist spoke English and was very friendly.

Nothing was wrong with the hotel but bus service is almost non-existent on Sundays and everything in the area is closed after 5:00 pm (at least on Sunday) so it was a freezing walk to downtown for dinner.

Polite staff, service on top,room clean, and posh .Breakfast on top .Definitely will return..

Can't think a bad,,,All was on the top of the tops,very liked when we left a hotel for the day,when we came back all bedding was changed and clean and room was cleaned .I've stayed in many hotels in my life.Not seen that good service much ..Breakfast included, all tasty, we had to leave early, so reception left all of us launch bags with tasty sandwiches and snacks..What was amazing..

I like the location not far from Auschwitz although the shortest route isn't available and there is no more 200m, rather 15 min walk. The hotel serve breakfast, the variety was ok. They also have a restaurant around the corner serving good dinners. The luggage storage was a bonus.

The wifi was sluggish, many channels on TV weren't loading, the air conditioning unit in room 3 positioned against another wall cooling the air next to the bathroom, but don't make no difference to the room temperature.

A reasonable facility to visit Auschwitz, although the property description is a little misleading. While it is 700 feet from the Auschwitz gate what they left off is that it's the back gate that you can't use. In order to access the locale, one needs to walk 20 minutes around to the front of the venue.

Really no restaurants close by, except one which was terrible at the hotel. Grocery store is just across the parking lot, though.

Stayed here for 2 nights to tour the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp complex...the hotel is located across the street from the original camp (& now the museum), Auschwitz I...so, the location is excellent...the service was also incredible...I arrived very early in the morning (8am) to be able to take the 10:30am tour of the camp; I was allowed to check in at that time & they also prepared a breakfast for me...absolutely incredible, friendly, & welcoming service...the rooms are spotlessly clean & very comfortable (I had a single room with a couch)...I highly rate the breakfast as well; good variety...overall, I had an excellent stay at the Hotel Olecki!!!

Staff were very friendly. They’re dog friendly too. Very helpful. Worked out perfect for our needs as passing through Poland and stopped to see Auschwitz so was perfectly located near main entrance. There was a Supermarket nextdoor too that was very handy.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good range of buffet breakfast options for us. ( We don't eat hot breakfasts so cannot comment on cooked selection). This is a good comfortable basic hotel convenient for visiting Auswitch. The new visitor centre arrangements at Auswitch means that if you want to walk from the hotel it now takes about 20 minutes. The plus side of this is that you walk round half the perimeter of the museum site to get there and get a good impression of the scale.
