Location was great, on the edge of the old town, the staff were pleasant and helpful and breakfast was tasty. The bizarre circular bed was a little uncomfortable, the toilet seat was broken and in spite of double glazing the traffic on the street outside was a little noisy. Having paid for the room through Booking.com and having had confirmation from them that they had taken the payment from my bank two days before arrival, the receptionist tried to make me pay again on departure. I showed her my Booking.com e-mail of payment confirmation and she back tracked! Nevertheless a convenient stay for a visit to Lucera.

The uncomfortable bed! The hassle with payment!

The breakfast offered a wonderful choice of different foods, including meats, eggs, fresh fruits, croissants, breads, yogurts, and sweets. The host's daughter, Laura, attended us at breakfast and was always accommodating with our multiple requests for cappuccino or cafe americano. The hotel's location was ideal. Although the main entrance was situated at a busy roundabout, the rooms were not noisy, and the hotel's rear door led out to Lucera's center.

No major complaints. We didn't realize that the first-floor rooms were actually located up a flight of stairs, which was a bit of a challenge for one of our family members, but things worked out overall. The hotel was quite charming. Parking, which was located in a public lot across from the hotel, was sometimes a challenge, but also worked itself out.

Excellent value for money. Very clean with basic facilities. Location great as was the wifi. Large room although traffic was a little noisy. Great town, with excellent piazza and the evening stroll last Sunday night was one of the best.

Very central location near pedestrian precinct, shops and restaurants. Helpful staff, nice big room. Private outdoor parking right in front of main entrance across the street with no extra charge.

No elevator, which I missed when I read Hotel description. Spots that are not often used ( behind bathroom door, drawers etc) had not been cleaned/ dusted recently.

Great location for old town, friendly staff. Good massage at wellness centre within hotel.
