Palazzo Sant'Elena in Foggia is excellent! We loved it—it was the most pleasant stay of our trip. The building is historic, with great rooms and facilities. We stayed in a quadruple room with ample space, high ceilings, and good ventilation—offering both comfort and great value for money. Breakfast is delightful, with many great options. The croissants are excellent, and the bruschettas are delicious. The reception staff is very kind, especially one team member (whose name I don’t recall) who helped me with directions to the Grand Apulia shopping center. She was very helpful, professional, and friendly. Grazie Mille (: The hotel’s location is great—just a 10-minute walk from the station and right next to local shops. There is a restaurant on the ground floor (independent from the hotel) that is well worth visiting. The food is excellent and fairly priced. We had fish and the local polenta, which was delicious, along with a regional wine. The service was quick and efficient. I definitely recommend staying at Hotel Santa'Elena!

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room for coffee and tea. One possible improvement to the breakfast would be adding a self-serve coffee machine instead of requiring guests to order at the table. This would provide more flexibility and customization, as the coffee sometimes arrived cold. Additionally, the juices were extremely sweet, and I couldn’t drink them. One suggestion would be to place a sign indicating the reception, as we initially went straight to the entrance with the ramp leading to the restaurant. A man then informed us that the reception was actually 50 meters ahead.

From the moment we arrived, the young lady at the front desk, Valentina, was absolutely lovely. She gave us a great room and, the next day, provided us with plenty of helpful information about restaurants and places to visit. Her English was excellent, which made everything even easier. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was just as kind and helpful. The location was perfect—situated in a safe area right across from the police station. However, if you take a couple of wrong turns, the surroundings can feel a bit rough. Overall, we’re so glad we found this place!

Staying overnight at this hotel has been a delightful experience. Our group of eight arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a very amiable and knowledgeable young man at the reception desk. The hotel is centrally located and features private parking, providing clean and comfortable rooms at an exceptional rate. We appreciated the fresh water in the minibar and the delightful candy surprises for our two children, which added a special touch to our welcome.

A real dream. Comfortable charming clean safe functional elegant historical. Really helpful friendly staff. I could go on. Oh! Great restaurant in ground floor just adjacent with delicious and affordable local food dishes and excellent wines. I recommend the local house Chardonnay. My wife and I really enjoyed it and look forward to returning in two weeks!

This was exceptional as it is a converted convent which was connected to one of the most important churches and built back in the 16th century. Our bedroom was on the third floor with no actual windows but a sky light. The arches extending in the spacious room are the original ones and brought back through the renovation. All staff members are proud to be members of this household and willing to tell us more about the history. Besides having a superb and spacious bedroom, the bathroom was also very luxurious with lovely bath towels. Breakfast was included in the price and was enough to start if the day for us. We had also reserved a private parking space on another location and this went smoothly.

The hotel was newly renovated, sparkling clean. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. The location couldn't be better. When we stayed there they gave us coupons for breakfast at a nearby cafe, which was coffee and a pastry.

The safe is on the bottom shelf of the wardrobe. It was very hard to access. Also, our room did not have any windows, only a skylight.

Great localisation in the city centre, very close to the train and bus station. Right next to a pretty pedestrian area with lots of cafès and restaurants. The builiding is renovated and has a specific charm. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Breakfasts might be a bit too peculiar for non-Italian guests who prefer to start a day with nutritious food more on the salty side. It is mostly a typical Italian breakfast with lots of sweet pastries and coffee.

Perfect beds, beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean. It was also great value for money, we were just passing by this town on our way south so this turned out to be a perfect spot to stopover for one night. Staff was super friendly.

The hotel was really nice and the staff is really friendly. It is in a great location to explore Foggia. They have a big parking space, although around 150 m walk from the hotel.

The two room suits are on the 3rd floor and they do not have proper windows, just skylights. The car parking is a bit far from the hotel.
