The accommodation was very clean. A big terrace. Very airy and sunny.

1. The front desk manager was very much money minded. But I have understood that this has become a norm in every accommodation in Haridwar. They fix the check out time in such a way that compels us to request them to extend our stay for a few more hours. And they charge extra money. They know the train timings, and they made that check out time deliberately. 2. The rooms were not that big as per the pictures in the website. 3. On the day of arrival while there were plenty of rooms still available, they made us pay some advance money to affirm that our booking is confirmed.

It was a very clean haveli and the rooms were also extremely clean. We stayed for a night for work and loved our stay. Its located in the main market and everything is walking from the hotel. The rood was also nice home cooked and at a decent cost. There is a chaat wala just on the left side of the hotel who serves amazing chaat. I think this is a nice family hotel and great value for Money. The staff Mr. GYAAN Singh was really a sweet person.

At first I was surprised why this place has low rating but then I understood it is because of the manager who is there at the day time. He was a little straight forward/ rude person to be in a hotel business. He was not at all humble. I traveled for work and was tired when we reach but he was really rude with everything we were asking which were a general questions. He was even rude with his own Staff. Also there is no parking at the hotel but the general parking is very close to the hotel for 100 -12 hr.

Reasonably priced rooms in a convenient location. Staff present at front desk 24/7. Service when needed was very prompt. Did not try the restaurant as there are tons of food options within walking distance. Most things to do in haridwar if you are on a religious visit is within 3km or so, with the main temples being within 1.5 km

Rooms are little small and cramped, musty due to lack of ventilation, and lacks storage space as well as hanger hooks etc. We were in a triple occupancy room and there was barely 3 feet between the bed and the walls and there was no space for luggage etc. There were also no place other than inside the bathroom to hang clothes. Very easy to fix by adding a cupboard in the corner and some hooks on the wall or behind the door.

The hotel management was always very concerned about money, everything had to be paid immediately, small change was not given back without being asked, agreed prices suddenly increased. Coffe and tea maker would be nice to have

Very courteous stuff -- at the front desk, also at room service, restaurant, and in every direction. They are very accommodative and they indeed help us with a substantially early check in. The hotel is clean, much cleaner than the usual hotels you find in Haridwar for a similar price. It is located about 600 meters from the station, which is a walkable distance. Overall, it was a super peaceful stay!

There was a smell in the bathroom, which bothered us. But the staff took care of it by spraying freshener. But the smell.was not from the bathroom itself, it was clean. It was perhaps a nearby dump.

During our stay at Gobind Bhawan, we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of courtesy exhibited by the staff. Their warm demeanor made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Room and Heritage property as a whole

Check out time is too early for the guests just 10 AM as visitors mostly like to take bath in the holy Ganges in Haridwar in the morning and return to hotel situated at a good distance. We suggest the check out time should be extended upto 12noon and check in at 2pm for guest's convenience. There is no system to temporarily keep the baggage of the outgoing visitors for some 2/3hrs without extra charges of 30% of room rent. We didn't expect so from the administration of such a good Hotel. Foods are available at an exorbitant rate comparing to others in that city. Otherwise the stay is good and comfortable.

Appreciates the architecture. It has old world charm. It was clean, food was pretty good and the staff was polite and helpful

The only thing which I didn't like is our sleep was disturbed due to excessive noise of wedding processing coming right from outside the hotel. I know this isn't the hotels fault but the noise was unbearably loud and sleep was disturbed.

It’s a very nice heritage property and the rooms, although not the largest, are comfortable and well stocked. There are plenty to places to eat close by and the hotel does offer food in their restaurant.

The only real issue with this hotel was it was next to a busy roundabout and the noise from car horns was almost constant from morning to night. I may have been particularly unlucky as the room I had was on the corner closest to the roundabout and can not comment on those on the other side of the hotel.
