The hotel has an excellent location, right in the heart of the city. Everything is within walking distance, including restaurants, the harbor, and the train station. There's also a parking garage about a 10-minute walk away. The building itself is beautiful, featuring stunning church-style windows. The restaurant downstairs offers a good range of breakfast options to suit all budgets. Our room was very comfortable, with a king-size bed, and the shower was excellent.

The lighting in the room was quite poor, especially in the center of the bedroom, and it made using the mirror difficult. Although the shower itself was beautifully decorated and worked very well, it was a walk-in design without proper water containment, which caused the bath mat to get completely soaked after every use.

Great hotel and concept, we really liked our deluxe room! The bed was comfortable, the room was gorgeous and the shower was amazing. The bar served good cocktails, we didn‘t have breakfast in the hotel. There are a lot of things to explore in Hoorn, the restaurants are very cute and served delicious food. Communication with the staff was also very good. Highly recommend.

Everything was good, but i highly recommend booking at least a deluxe room so you can have more privacy. The regular room were like an „aquarium“ and people who walked through the hallway could see in your room. Even though there are huge curtains, you can sometimes see inside a room if you let a small gap open.

Location was right in the middle of town. Good breakfast and restaurants close by.

Lift only goes to level 2. The last of the level 2 rooms is up another flight of stairs.

We loved the property, we were a little frustrated with the lady (member of staff) in the dining area who kept telling us we couldn’t sit at particular tables despite the fact we were hotel guests, she made us feel bad which is not what you expect from the staff. If she had been more accommodating we would have felt better, we ended up spending €300 so a little more patience would have gone down well. Apart from that the breakfast staff were great and we had an enjoyable stay.

We really loved our stay at this hotel. Perfectly located for exploring beautiful Hoorn and the surrounding areas. We arrived by car and used the Het Jeudje garage as recommended by the hotel, very convenient and only a few minutes' walk away. The reception was able to accommodate our late check-in around midnight with no issues. We took advantage of the opportunity to pre-select our room prior to arrival and were very happy with our choice of a deluxe king on the second floor, overlooking one of the big stained glass windows. The space itself is truly extraordinary, and the room was very comfortable as well as spacious. It was also very quiet - upon our arrival, there was a party with a DJ happening in the restaurant/bar downstairs but no noise travelled to our room. We really enjoyed breakfast; very good selection on offer and fresh coffee made-to-order. Great communication with the hotel and excellent service provided throughout.

Great hotel. Very clean. Helpful polite nice staff. The lady at the reception found a solution immediately to move us to the room with a bath. Very comfy beds. You have everything at the room. Just perfect. Will come back. Highly recommended.

The mistake by phone about the bath of the business room. But it was solved easily when we arrived. Parking not easy. Not free after some time even in the weekend.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choice. Our deluxe room was spacious. It was in such a central space in Hoorn but very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely toiletries provided.

It would have been good to have been able to separate the twin beds as I was travelling with my daughter but we managed. We found it strange not to have a door to the bath and shower but again we managed.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL and exceptional Hotel, a renovated church with unique set up for the bedrooms, with very modern and creative decoration everywhere; a very good breakfast and the dinner at the restaurant The Saint was worth 1 Michelin Star: delicious and VERY creative. Staff is very friendly and always checking if everything is ok.

Reception and breakfast staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are all different and can be more or less dark. Great ambience! The breakfast buffet was good and you can order a few additional warm items (pancakes, waffles...) made fresh included in the price.

Staff of the bar was slow and not polite, really a shame for such a special location.

The hotel is a renovated church and they did a fantastic job on the inside. Very unique and the room/bathroom felt very new and modern. The staff is very friendly and there was very cheap parking nearby in a parking garage. We loved the breakfast and one night we had dinner in the hotel. The steak was perfect and just what I needed before a big event the next day. The location is great to go anywhere on foot. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area and we fell in love with the town of Hoorn. The buildings are just fantastic and the town is rich in history.

The room has solid windows and it is in the middle of the church with the hallway between the room and outside wall of the church. During the night the room became very warm and stuffy, but the aircon does not go below 22*C. The staff at the desk said there was nothing they could do about that. I must mention that it was a record breaking warm weekend.
