We stayed here for Ironman on June 22, 2025, and had a great experience. The hotel feels quite new and modern, with clean, comfortable rooms and a beautiful property overall. The bathtub in the bathroom was a real highlight — absolutely amazing after a long day! The staff arranged a special transfer on race day (just €6), and even served breakfast at 5 AM — such a thoughtful touch. Kids also received a small welcome kit, which was lovely.

The only downside is the location. While everything is relatively close, it's about an 18–20 minute walk to the main train station. A taxi ride costs around €12–15. Not a big deal, but after a long day on your feet, you definitely feel the distance.

The hotel was great. Super good facilities, they had nice services and were well prepared to help Ironman participants, the staff was really great and friendly. On the ironman day , they had a super nice Ironman type of breakfast ready at 5am for everybody and a shuttle to take Ironman participants to the Transition/Swim start area. Windows were really good to isolate the sound for the highway in front of the hotel, but it was impressive how noise could travell to the 12th floor if they were open. I would stay here once again, but I would be aware of higher temperature days.

I was in the hotel for the Ironman 70.3 Westfriesland. I know heat could be high given the time of the year, so I made sure to book the hotel in advance as in my experience most of the hotels have a nice air conditioning system, so I could be well rested for the next day. But not this one, the first day was to warm at the room and I came to know they dont really have an Airco, but more of a fan system. Result first night I could only sleep 4 hours, next night I go a fan with a friend who lived close by and it did help, but I was disappointed with that. ( I am a person who I believe has higher temperature).

We really enjoy our stay at this hotel. Hotel is in a convenient location just off the highway. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious with a nice decor. A very big bathroom with walk-in shower and a big bathtub was a nice surprise! The staff who welcomed us upon check-in was super nice, and we even got the treats for our doggies that we were traveling with. Thank you so much!

The weather was rather stormy at night, and the you could not get rid off the wind whistling through the window frames. That was the only discomfort during our stay. Other than that, it was great!

the location was great easy access to roads and walking distance to centre. the staff were very friendly and efficient and spoke good english. The rooms were wonderful - no noise which is exceptional!!! the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. we used the swimming pool - lovely addition and sauna and all good condition and clean. we used the restaurant and bar which was both good. breakfast was exceptional : it sounds expensive but you have every breakfast food imaginable and eat as much as you want! there is also a cinema and other bar in this complex and lots of free parking.

We ended up staying in one of the suites; room was huge, clean, and great overall. Kids loved it as well, would have stayed more if possible. Unfortunately I did not manage to experience all that the hotel had to offer (cinema, or restaurants for ex), but the bottle of bubbly was tasty.

"Not like" is too strong of an expression; the room is which the kids were staying could not be fully darkened, the blackout curtains did let some light through, and facing West and being on the 14th floor, we had light till late :) Which was fine, eventually they did fall asleep. Our room could be darkened enough.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly the Room was clean well presented Bathroom is large and clean with Shower bath dinner was very good and service was excellent, Breakfast is Self Service with a wide verity of choices.

The rooms could do with more plug sockets for business travellers and fixed UK style adapters would be useful but not essential just a nice to have. and the Bath shower could have a fixed shower head riser as opposed to hand held Taxi's can be expensive late at night from town to hotel 1 charged 27Euro plus

Very spacious and comfortable room with lovely outlook. Fabulous choice at breakfast and very helpful staff at reception. Great easy location to find and free parking. Lovely little landscaped park directly accessed from hotel so I could easily walk my dog in the morning in a lovely location. Inside the public spaces and rstaurant the decor was very nice too.

I had a very plenty stay and would definitely go back again, or go to another hotel in the group. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about it.

The hotel was warm and welcoming and the team there was so friendly and nice. The rooms were brilliant and had both a rain shower and spacious bath tub. I enjoyed the fact they had a nespresso machine in the room with a choice of different pods. The restaurant had amazing food and great value for money. On the 14th floor was a pool , sauna and jacuzzi. What was also brilliant on the 1st floor was a full size Vue cinema showing the latest blockbuster movies. All of this in one hotel is why I will be returning and recommending this.

friendly professional staff, nice cosy silent room, full bath & shower option, restaurant has good and quick service, prices are democratic, breakfast very copious but also very expensive, maybe make distinction between 'basic quick breakfast' and 'take all the time you need to enjoy everything on offer' (often not suitable for business people having appointments in the area)

although bathroom offered both bathing and shower option, and was very tidy, the modern flatbed shower drain was not working as could be expected, turning the bathroom into a swimming pool as an unpleasant morning surprise ; aesthetically nice solutions also require checking for proper functioning ... my scoring would have been higher if this event had not required me to ruin all towels that were at hand to stop the water spreading all over the bathroom floor ...

Nice modern hotel, with nice decor and lovely staff. Was my second time staying here and would definitely recommend to friends and family! Food is on the pricer side but you get what you pay for! Bar area is very cosy and nice and drinks are average price

No major complaints, only thing i can think of is that the shower/bathroom is a wet room and floods really easily. I had to pay towels down when having a shower to stop the whole room filling with water.
