Friendly welcome by staff, comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom. Large window that we could open for ventilation at night time. Terrace in front of the hotel and restaurant with great views over the water. Great location!

After Hong Kong this was the smallest room we ever stayed in. Our room was located near the main road, so quite some sound from traffic starting in the early morning. We were charged tourist tax at check-in, even though this was a small amount it should have been included already as during booking through Booking.com it mentioned that the price was including all taxes and fees.

The hotel is nicely located at the edge of the village with restaurant, terrace and view. The room was a bit small and basic, but with all necessary facilities and very clean. The bus to Hoorn is a 1 minute walk and 22 minute ride.

There is no shop nearby, but you can have dinner and breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel.

I wish I had more time to enjoy the restaurant and relax in the area but I was only passing through. When I checked in, the downstairs restaurant and bar was lively but in a pleasant way and I was happy to note that no noise from downstairs makes it to the room. Very good value for money

It was great staying in this place. Every thing was good and clean. The personal was kind and we got a great service.

WIFI was very awful and slow, hope they will fix it. When we checked in, we had to pay 1 euro pr. day pr. Person. They say it was for city tax, but we were never notified about it in booking.com which was a kind of bad experience for us.

Great value for money. Situated in a quiet village, only 30 min away from Amsterdam city. Clean room with everything you need in it. Perfect for 1 night stay near amsterdam. Staff very friendly and welcoming. They also have a restaurant - but we didn't try it. Overall very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are small, but that didn't bother us. Parking available.

Located in the Dutch countryside, it offers rooms above a well-regarded pub restaurant, where we also had a good dinner. A pleasant and budget-friendly accommodation, close to Amsterdam and other lovely places like Volendam.

The noise, windows and doors need to be soundproof or something... Because it's at the main street you can hear loud motorcycles, trucks, etc passing by, so falling asleep it's a bit difficult.

Was a gorgeous little town, the room was immaculate and great value for money. The food we had was great.

Only tiny gripe is the Uber coverage for the area is sparse, so every trip needed to be planned not a hotel issue just a word of advise for future travellers.

The wifi didn’t work on Apple devices. We had 5 with us and non worked. When giving the feedback next day to the owner, he reacted rather annoyed instead of taking it seriously. Missed opportunity imho

The location is excellent, especially the terrace with the restaurant facilities. The beds were among the best. Staff was great, about all of them apologised for the long wait for our main course. It seems it was forgotten.

The room itself is pretty basic, that's ok. Everything is there and clean. The other guests make some noise climbing the stairs, etc. This has to do with way the stairs fit in the system: they are not isolated from the rest.
