The room was great and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. Location is ideal for the centre of town and the railway station, but also quiet.

Initial entry was using a keysafe and code, which I struggled with slightly as the instructions had only been sent in Dutch and the details were in the middle of a long message I didn't understand. My fault that I don't speak the local language, but it could have been a little easier. However this was quickly resolved when I arrived.

Location is good, right in the centre. You can park about 3 minute walk.away for 5.50 euro. Astrid met us, settled us in then we did n't see anyone until breakfast as it is unmanned. Beds were comfy, lights, sockets all good. Bathroom.a bit old fashioned but ticked all the boxes. Tea, coffee also plentiful. Breakfast was really good.

Nothing. Steep stairs but I knew this by other reviews.

The location next to the train station is great and bike rentals were also nearby. It was very cozy and the room was perfect for us.

The only frustrating part was the check-in process. Nowhere on the Booking.com confirmation or at the front door did it say to get the key from the restaurant next door. Another lady was there checking in with us trying to figure this out.

Astrid & Mia were so wonderful and welcoming. The best breakfast I've ever had in a B&B! Really good sized room with lovely tea and coffee making facilities.

There was another guest the first night who was very loud and smoking in the building. This was not the fault of B&B Posthoorn, but the age of the building means that I could hear and smell everything. Solved with some ear plugs and opening my window helped disperse the smell.

Very friendly and helpful host (thank you, Astrid!), nice room, good breakfast. Centrally located.

Missing air condition: the room was 28 degrees when we arrived at 8:30pm. Then it would at least be great to have something cool to drink in the room or floor.

We liked the central position and the friendliness of the owner and family

The steep and narrow stairs are a challenge with heavy suitcases but you only carry them up once so you just have to put up with it

Hotel was a in a great location. The best pillows ever. Astrid cooked a wonderful breakfest and she was very helpful with us. We recommend anyone to stay in B&B Posthoorn. Ayla and Nail

Excellent breakfast, good value for money. Location is short walk from station and downtown. Our room was fine, very clean and quiet at night. Easy short train ride on to visit Enkhuizen outdoor museum.

Downside was huge heatwave, and roomsbeing at the top as in many old town Dutch houses, very hot in the rooms. But there was an outside patio one floor up with a bit of shade and "recliners". Small private hotel, with personal service and very helpful. Excellent meal at "Eetcafe" clse by.

B&B had 3 operational rooms, other 2 r, good rooms were being refurbished. Had to ring to get someone to give entry details, and get bike storage sorted, otherwise more than happy with the hotel, great breakfast, good value for money.

Arrival details culd have been explained better, so we knew what to expect.
