We liked the energy of the place. Everything was accessible within a quick walking distance. Food was very good despite some reviews we have read. We were pleasantly surprised. Don't expect complementary champagne or gourmet lobster tails here....you will get what you paid for. Lower your expectations, come for the sun, and you will be very happy!

Our family loves the beach. Unfortunately, when our kids needed a bit of shade, there were not any palapas available to keep them cool. There was only a sliver of the beach confined to a tight area where shade was available. We love the sun, but the alternative should be there when you need it, especially for your lil ones.

I loved the vibe The customer service, hats off to them, they know how to welcome customers, how to have fun with us, they are very friendly. I loved the pools, I loved the atmosphere.

I loved everything except the no parking We have to park outside and the building it’s pretty old, because of the bathroom and the dresser, but I think that’s the style of it. The water is pretty salty, maybe because it comes from a well and the sea is too close I noticed when I first came but after all the vibes, I really forgot it I think salt water is good for the skin too so no worries

Good value for the money. Thanks to the coral barrier reef and the water temperature (29 degree C) Bavaro beach is very comfortable for swimming. Entertaiment program was proffesional and pleasant.

The staff is super friendly and caring. We got a better room when we asked for a change after being in a room close to the pool bar (loud music).

The tab water is from the ocean (salty). The airconditioning was not cooling well for a long period of time.

I had an amazing time here! The staff was superb and the location and price were exactly what fit my needs. I was looking for a budget friendly but amazing place and Whala provided that with even more than I could have even expected!

The sky bar was under construction at the time of our visit/ couldn’t use pool…but we understand it was to upgrade the facility

The change in room because the first room was too noisy for my baby. The second room was difficult with the stairs. The last room much better but we get to spend only 1 night in it. We wish we had this third room since the beginning as it matches more our expectations.

The water in the room is the ocean water desalinated. It was hard to use the soap to wash ourselves with this kind of water, worse to bross our teeth. So we have to carry a bottle with us all the time to get water to use.

Staff was so friendly. Cleaning staff was very accommodating. Waiters at the buffet and restaurant gave excellent service.

They should be more careful with the qualty of the food, I know is not an expensive hotel, but... a little bit
