The breakfast had plenty of options and started really early. also the restaurant offers options such as international but also Indonesian ones at a good price. the bed was huge, biggest I have seen in my life.

The hotel itself was lacking some maintenance work as it looks quite old. Also the cleanliness could be improved. The reality of the room is quite different than what is shown in the pictures.

A very central location without being in the heart of Yogyakarta. The 8th floor rooms are very spacious. The staff are very attentive, thank you Miss Dita and Mr Ken for looking after our travelling party of 6 so well. Nothing was a bother at all. All staff were readily available to help with questions or concerns. Thanks to the kitchen staff for looking after those that got sick, with our food requests. The doormen, right through to cleaners and security made our stay memorable. The gardens while tiny, are gorgeous and so relaxing. A fitness centre, day spa and kids play area, compliment the pool area.

Whilst the rooms were non-smoking, the outside dining areas weren’t so much. This is only a small negative as I appreciate different countries have different standards.

The hotel has a local charm, with a nice pool. On arrival we had an excellent lunch by the pool. The hotel also has a mexican bar & restaurant (curiously). This we found to be the best place to go for evening food, drinks and live music. The hotel is also in a good location (though walking around can be interesting given the state of the pavements in the city so rikshaw is a good idea). The hotel is good value.

The breakfast isn't up to normal hotel standards. Plenty of local food but it seemed to be put out very early in the morning. The hotel rooms are looking a bit tired. Staff were very very helpful - umbrellas provided :-)

After an initial issue with our room the staff went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were taken care of. The level of attention paid to us was simply unbelievable. One could only dream of customer service like that anywhere else. We want to especially mention Detra and Denny Ken who couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Breakfast choices and quality was as good or better than any of the 4 and 5 stars hotels we stayed at. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Bathrooms are a bit tired but everything was clean and in working order.

I recently stayed at Jambuluwuk Malioboro Hotel Yogyakarta and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of Yogyakarta near Malioboro Street, making it convenient for exploring the city's attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. The hotel's facilities, including the swimming pool and restaurant, were excellent, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yogyakarta.

A very nice hotel, which left us with an amazing guest experience, at a fairly low price for such a high level hotel. I would highly recommend it to any: Solo, Couples travelers - or to a Group scenario! Prime location, amazing level of Service, very warm and welcoming stuff. Room was great! large, clean, huge and comfortable bed, Breakfast was great with vast array of selection. A great choice to consider.

Stayed 3 nights/4 days. There was nothing I found negative, nor my wife 🙏

We got a free upgrade into a bigger room. Plenty of room, however, we prefer 2 rooms with connecting door since we are travelling with 2 kids. It went well since our kids are 10 & 12, however not really practical. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was nice, lots of choices from traditional Indonesian, western and snacks. They also serve "jamu" (traditional Indonesian herbal drinks) - love it! Location is very convenient. You can take "becak"- pedicab from the hotel to most of the highlights (the Beringharjo market, Malioboro street, Keraton, Alun-alun).

They played Indonesian national anthem "Indonesia Raya" during breakfast on random time. I do really love the idea, for me as an Indonesian who have been living abroad for more than 25 years, it was a very nice surprise! However, it would be nice to be informed upfront and play the song on a certain time so people could prepare. It was super awkward situation since no one (foreign tourist) know what was going on and wondering what happened. Hotel staff abruptly stopped their activity, stand still and hold their salute until the last note of national anthem. So instead of took time for this special moment, I was busy explaining. It happened twice during our 3 nights stay.

The staff is so friendly. The best 5 stars hotel in yogyakarta. The facilities are great. The room is big and clean. The bed is supeeerrrrr hugeeee. The biggest bed I ever seen and the comfiest bed I ever slept with. The pool is my favorite place to spend the day. And In the morning, the breakfast is soooo good. Much variety of local cuisine and western cuisine. The best hotel I ever stay in Indonesia. Definitely will comeback here

The room is spacious, comfortable with the extra large bed. The buffet breakfast is good with lots of variety to choose

We were surprised that there is no proper wardrobe to hang our clothes. It was just a pole hanged and it was very high and inconvenient for guest to hang their clothes. I have to climb up the wooden bench to grab the hanger. We informed the hotel staff at the reception about the issue and they just take note and nothing had been done during our stay until we checked-out. Attached photos taken in the room.

The location was near the central of attractions of the city. Although it was not a walking distance. The could manage my small bus (Hi-Ace with high roof) to be parked in-front of lobby area for overnight. They also have parking lot for busses, just behind the hotel.

Life music from the pool area can be heard from inside my room. It was very noisy until 10:30 pm. Breakfast buffet had a bunch of variety of food, but the taste should be improved.
