Awesome and courteous customer service, room was OVERALL nice, clean and neat.. The AC/Heat/Fan unit worked extremely well and I was able to keep the room at a nice and cozy temp during my 3 day stay visiting my dad 10/13-10/16 2024.

The AC/Heat/Fan unit had heavy debris and appeared to have mold. I definitely plan on making sure that my AC/Heat/Fan unit is clean and safe before my next stay. That is VERY important to me. There was just 1 washer & 1 dryer that I was aware of for all guests to use. I just so happened to wash & dry my two loads at a great time. And the lightening of my room was horribly dim.

Everything was perfect. Excellent location!!! Very beautifully managed independent property. Nice outdoor sitting and lovely Gazebo with fire-pit. The room was exceptionally clean and smell so refreshing! Closed by so many restaurants. The stay was peaceful & safe. This location is about an hour and 15 mins from the Nags Head, Outer Banks area. Worth it to save a little money on a holiday weekend stay. Plenty of parking. Nearby is also Plymouth historic waterfront, a little-known gem of a town that has a replica of an ironclad warship and was part of the U.S. Civil War battles. Definitely worth a day trip and the town also has an NC Black Bear Festival. We will be back!!!!!!!!! :)

this motel is pretty old and basic, but the room, including sheets, blankets and linens, was very clean and the bed/mattress was very comfortable

there was some kind of scented air freshener in the room that was overpowering. Once I located it, I enclosed it in a plastic bag and left it on the windowsill. Unfortuately, I think it was used to cover up the residue of old cigarette smoke

The motel was clean, temperature of the room was great and water pressure and temperature in the shower was excellent! It was nice having a dollar general directly across the street and a few fast food dining options.

The bed was not super comfy and the outside light shined directly into the room with no way to block it. There was some peeling paint over the shower which was not an issue for us, but may be a turn off to some.

The location was excellent for what I needed to do for my business trip. The room was clean, and the motel was quiet. I was only in my room to sleep. I slept well.

Everything was great! There is nothing I can suggest for a better stay. The staff was friendly, the location was great, the motel was quiet (lots of trucks hauling boats in thee parking lot), and the bed was comfortable.

I would have preferred a smoking room, but there was no ashtray or notification that it was a smoking room, so I had to go outisde. On booking, I knew that in-room coffee wasn't an amenity, but it would have been nice.

It's right on the highway no traveling around to get to it. The staff were super friendly and very informative about the community. The room was spacious and completely clean, they had even shampooed the carpet before we got there the day we checked in. Nice barbecue grill for guests to use.

There is absolutely nothing I can say that I didn't like the place was wonderful!!

From the check-in to check out had and absolutely great experience. Staff was very friendly laughing joking around as I checked in and the room was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the hot shower ❤️❤️❤️

There's really nothing bad I can say about my experience.

Proper old time motel! The host said, he has 3rd generation regulars who want him to keep it just as it is. So it was geared to the sports and wildlife contingent. Clean and comfy.

The aircon is noisy (they always are). No coffee in the room, and the lighting was dim.

We traveled 7 hours to look at some homes (we're considering moving). This was an unexpected trip and we were trying to stay on budget. The room was very clean and the price was most affordable. Thank you for a nice, CLEAN room that didn't break the bank. Also, it was in the 90s while we were there. The AC worked great and kept our room chill and comfortable.
