There is much to like about Hotel Anna. For those passing through as visitors, travelers or TDY it is a short taxi or bus ride from Ramstein AFB. It is a short walk to the center of Ramstein-Miesenbach with bakeries (e.g. Barbarrosa Bäckerei), stores (Netto, Action, yarn, clothing, etc.) restaurants and train stop and bus station (ZOB). The rooms are typical German: neat, clean, quiet and very reasonable. The building is concrete and solid. Bonus is the award-winning restaurant in the hotel where guests get a 5% discount. When warm enough you can eat al fresco. The staff are helpful, cheerful and multilingual. Stay at Hotel Anna for about half the price of Ramstein lodging. Your pocket book will thank you.

I had arrived late for my check in at the property due to flight. Hotel was accommodating to code needed after hours. However, it was not known that the property didn’t have an elevator. We were put on the 3rd floor. We had multiple bags and were flying out the next morning early. Because we had drug our bags up 3 flights of stairs the lady working the desk had came out to shush us. No alternate solutions or alternatives. The next morning she apologized.

We had a lovely stay here visiting some friends living in Steinwenden. The hotel was very conveniently located, a couple minutes drive to get into town and visit shops and restaurants. Check in was seamless once we arrived, the woman at the front desk was very kind and explained to us everything we needed to know. The room was clean and the double bed was large. It was wintertime but we were never cold in the room, it was heated nicely. I would definitely stay here again, thank you for the lovely hospitality!

Quaint and lovely small boutique hotel. The owner is so welcoming and let us check in early without charging fee. We went to visit our son who is stationed at Ramstein- you can walk to the West gate appx 1.5 miles away from hotel Anna. I didn’t see an elevator so be prepared to walk up 1 or 2 small flights of stairs to access your room.

The property has a very homey feel, if you want super fancy might not be to your liking although very clean and bathrooms appeared to be recently updated.

Lovely place just outside Ramstein Air Base. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was huge, and everything was clean. The top floor has amazing windows to open and let fresh air and light in but also had blackout shades as well for sleeping. Check in was a breeze and there was free parking. Very quiet at night. Location was just ok, not really near anything but there's a restaurant in the lobby so you can eat there before going up to your room. Wonderful patio also! Free coffee in the morning.

No breakfast (like others have said) but that's totally ok. Would've been nice to have a coffee machine in the room. But really here's nothing bad about this hotel, I'd stay here again!

Their restaurant opened at 5 pm and the food was excellent. They give huge servings and it's all great. The room was clean and comfortable. They have a nice bed and beautiful furniture with a nice balcony. It's a quiet hotel and we got plenty of rest. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful with all our questions.

The only thing we didn't like was there was no elevator. We are over 70 and aren't used to climbing stairs.

This hotel/restaurant is very unique and has a nice "homely" feel. The restaurant never fails to please either, along with the accommodating staff. The staff are flexible and friendly. The burgers are the best-in-area and home-made. The location is in walking distance to ANYTHING you would want/need.

Couldn't log on to the free Wi-Fi with some of my devices. But that was the Wii-U (non-essential) and my fire-stick. I just used my mobile hot-spot for that.

The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The waitress at the restaurant was rude. Since the moment I arrived and asked where to checkin, all of my interactions were not pleasant. At dinner, I ordered a large Weizenbier, she brought it overflowing and said “please drink it, fast”. I thought it was a joke and smiled at her. No she was serious and rude about it. She wanted me to chug the beer to prevent it from overflowing over the table. The whole restaurant experience was not great.

Was looking for a good value hotel for the night (had a layover). This hotel met my expectation. Small room but comfy bed, small tv, refridge (not sure if it worked?), desk and a couple chairs, No lift but stairs were fine. Room had a second door which provided a nice sound barrier to the hallway. Super nice lady checked me in, spoke english and walked me thru procedures- kudos. Close to ZOB (bus station), think it was a 9 min walk. Edecka/Food store was less then 5 min walk. Very nice restaurant on first floor and a super outdoor entertainment area.

Walls a wee bit thin- could hear neighbor's conversation/TV. Glad I had a white noise device for sleeping.

Location was great! Friendly service. Fridge and microwave. Loved the hurricane shutters to keep the room darker. Loved that the windows opened. Didn’t get to try the restaurant but nice option. Checkin was extremely easy.

No issues. Room I was in had a bit too much furniture, but that’s not really an issue.
