The two times I've stayed here have been spontaneous after long hot days of physical labor on my daughter's property. I was looking for a local place with wifi, cold AC and all the shower/bath amenities to chill and rest for the night. This Hampton Inn fit the bill!

The price. Considering there were still rooms available until 6pm on this trip, it seems like it should have cost less than $180 (after fees and taxes) for a room with one full bed. The free breakfast is a nice addition. I like a warm breakfast other than the usual make-your-own waffles and/or oatmeal. There were only scrambled eggs and chicken sausage - a hashbrown option. They ran out of OJ and salsa, but it was still something in my stomach.

Location and price

Breakfast was lacking due to the front desk clerk having to also manage a full dining area/kitchen at the same time. With a full hotel there should have been adequate staffing to ensure that food was prepared and ready for guests. The room that we were in was very small for a King room...barely any room to walk around the bed!

Bed was comfortable. The location is good. Coffee at front desk great. I loved the dark roast. Staff friendly and helpful. Location close to downtown and other places.

Air conditioning temperature control was not sufficient. It was either too cold or too hot, never just right. Breakfast needs help. The waffle maker did not operate correctly. Batter stuck no matter how much spray you used. I was not impressed with omelets.

Room was very comfortable. Great breakfast.

Water fountain in pool area did not work (probably has not worked for at least a year) and had rust all over it. Jaccuzi was luke warm at best. The timer did not shut off on its own.

The entrance from the road onto the parking lot is a difficult maneuver. I would remove the concrete barrier and let folks get in and out!

very friendly staff. nice location and welcoming lobby. the red velvet waffles were incredible!

the lobby area needs some shades. the sun is too strong when eating breakfast there. A few of the towels had spots on them.

The breakfast was good, more/better than I expected. The room was excellent for my purposes and very comfortable.

The ONLY issue that arose was the shower water wouldn't get hot for some reason. It would only get slightly warm. The water in the sink got hot just fine.

Hotel smelled like mold/wet.we found mold spots around our window above ac unit.

ice machines were broken. site told us queen room slept 5 but actually only one queen bed. and staff wasn’t accommodating.
