I stayed here this week and was pleasantly surprised since the outside does look a bit rough. The woman at the desk was pleasant, it was quiet overnight, the room was clean (no bugs seen anywhere), the A/C was ice cold, free wi-fi, and the room even had a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel is right across from the street from McDonald's and there is a Dollar General right down the road where you can pick up food and other items.

The location was right off of the interstate. It was very clean.

It was pretty old. All of the electric outlets were on one wall. You had to get up and turn the light off over the bed at the switch by the door.

Good location for resuming my travels in the morning. Found a local donut shop.

Not many amenities in town. Difficult finding a good place to eat at night. Definitely no Starbucks in the vicinity of the facility.

The girl who checked me in at the front desk was very kind and welcoming

no breakfast. but there is McDonald’s and convince store right across the street.

Pool was out of service

This is the second time in the past year that my friend and I stayed at the Carefree Inn. Positive noteworthy points include ease of booking, relatively affordable (we are both on disability), and allowing pets is a huge help, especially because it's so affordable.

There was a small roach cruising around the microwave. The paint job in the bathroom of unit110 around the tiles/on the grout is both an unattractive shade of brown, plus it's extremely sloppy. Unit 110 has GREAT beds, but the sink and shower areas are a little beat up.

Friendly customer service. Clean room. Bed very comfortable. Good for the price. Would stay again
