The location was great! I felt very safe and had a quiet and comfortable rest! Owners were very nice and helpful. This would be the only place I would stay while in Gonzales. Cold A/C and hot shower. The room was very clean.

The property was not as described. We got given the last room at the property where the receptionist did not seem confident about us staying in there. We entered the room and there was a intense smell of bleach, the room was old fashioned and had little to no belongings inside. The bath/shower did not have a shower curtain and the window in the bathroom was boarded up with wood and one was clear glass that you could see through from the outside. Worst of all the room had cockroaches which made the hotel uninhabitable and we had to leave. When we asked for a refund the receptionist did not know how to process this. We asked if she knew anywhere we could stay which she was not able to assist. We rang around other hotels and could not find any accommodation so had to sleep in the car. Yes we chose the car over that room. Do not stay at this place!!!!! Worst place i have ever seen.

Every time I called, she was ABOUT to refund my money. I will never book here again. I understand plumbing issues and really bad luck, but I don't understand keeping my money 2 weeks.

Room was canceled unexpectedly by staff during check in by a ring doorbell. Vacant motel with no staffing available when checking in. Office had Busted up glass. Office was not answering phone or emails 1-2 weeks prior to check in date. Unsafe atmosphere.
