excellent!! we travelled with kids, skiing. We've decided to stay off the mountain. This allowed us to expore Innsbruck and other skii areas. -Just in case kids got tired or weater not good. If you stay on the mountain and weather turns crap, tough luck and the "ski in - ski out" is not that great.... tough luck. Oets [ 15 min away] is excellent as well witht the lift/ gondola. The hotel has Excelent food and well priced for us aussies $. The owners are very friendly and helpful! we had problem with car battery, the owner rang his friend ... he came over in few minutes and we were on our way. Go for the wiener schnitzel, even the kids meal is big.. too big 8-))!

Location is excellent for those seeking to visit multiple ski areas in this part of Austria without the higher cost of staying at an actual ski resort. Property is dated in style (1970s) but neat, clean, functional and pleasant. Run by a family including the restaurant on ground level who are very pleasant and accomodating. Excellent breakfast included with good selection. Ate at restaurant 2 nights and food was hearty and good value. Easy free parking right in front of hotel

Checkin was stated for 5 pm and family/proprieters do not reside at property - we arrived early and there was no one there for check-in. Clearly stated in reservation so our fault but lack of continuous on-site staff presence may be a turn-off for some potential guests. Town and immediate area lack the charm of a true ski town but for travellers transiting through the area or wanting to visit multiple ski areas (Kuhtai, Serfaus-Fiss-Landis, even St. Anton), a very acceptable and affordable option.

Really nice property - in a great location- price of the room was reasonable - the front desk was very helpful- no charge for parking- I really liked the room- I was impressed with all of the service staff

maybe there could be an easier way to take the elevator to take the luggage to your car, however most guests are coming by care

I booked this hotel as I was en route to Obergurgl Ski resort and wanted an overnight stay nearby. It was perfect. Huge quiet room with excellent breakfast. The bonus is the restaurant on site with pizzas or traditional Austrian dishes. It was full on a Friday night, which tells you something about the food. I was surprised that the hotel was not rated higher on booking.com.

Great staff, very clean hotel, room and restaurant. The breakfast was very nice with everything you want. The restaurant has very good pizza.

Lovely breakfast, very flexible and accommodating hosts and staff.

Only one small thing - the pillows were a little high and hard. Something flatter and softer would have been perfect

Place was spotless clean and possibly had the nicest orange juice I've ever had for breakfast. Staff came across as hard workers . Should the opportunity ever arise again to stop in that area I'd certainly go back.

The effort of the staff to do everything to the maximum. The accommodation met our expectations. We didn't eat well, slept and continued our journey the next day. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast and dinner very good.

Very nice family running the hotel, bus station to ski area Hochötz is right in front of hotel, supermarket 1min walk away, breakfast very tasty, rooms large with small "living room" space with sofa, etc.

Very spacious room & bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Quiet location in a small village, but close to the motorway.
