The hotel is very well-located and family-friendly. When we arrived, our son was delighted by the little attentions for him. After that, we found that the staff was very welcoming both to us and to him. The breakfast and dinner were very good, with dishes that weren't familiar to us. The garden is beautiful and has a trampoline and games for the kids. Oetz is very well located for activities.

.. Much of our stay was with fairly poor weather but the grand building .. with its gemütlich rooms to rest in at dinner was a real bonus .. To our surprise, the chef on shift for the Half-Pension was incredibly talented 👍 😋 👍

.. Breakfast in the mornings were held in a large pretty room .. with assortments of cheeses and bread rolls .. neither the hot eggs or uncooked bacon /speck offered was desirable to the morning palate .. Some reason the coffee was not so tasty …

Superb value in a unique building from 1906. Henry, a member of the family which has owned & managed the hotel for many years, speaks impeccable English. He'll tell you all about the history of the establishment and of the area. As a cyclist himself, he is also well informed about the roads & cycle tracks in the region. Absolutely top notch - superb - breakfast and a ridiculously good value & delicious dinner should not be missed. We usually eschew half-board but are very glad we chose the arrangement here. Room was large, quiet and had a balcony with a stunning view. Comfortable beds & excellent, modern bathroom. Secure garage with plenty of room for our tandem bicycle.

Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, that you take in beautiful traditional salons. The whole place has a very nice traditional and historical feeling (the rooms are more recent aesthetically, however). Price was awesome - Austrians really take the crown of hospitality! Also important: they seem to keep the quality even with few guests (which is not the case everywhere)! They have a garage where you can store your bicycle, if that's of interest. So easy in & out for road and mountain bikers, and no hassle.

the staff was very knowledgable, proffesional and helped even with our planning of transportation to the main train station (HB) by bus very early in the morning, which was beyond their responsibility. It is nice to experince that there are people taking their proffesion seriously. Would stay here if we ever come back to Austria for trekking in autunmn or fall (hopefully).

Very nice rooms, with balcony. Very quiet so you were not disturbed by other guests. Our request for a room at the end of the hallway was fulfilled, so our dog was able to rest as well. Dinner was great and service very friendly.

Wifi was not strong in our room to work remotely. Breakfast selection at later time was not always complete.

The half board option is a particular good deal as it includes a 3 course meal with 2 main courses to choose from for dinner, I had sirloin steak the first night and hake the second and both were excellent.

Old style hotel in center of Oetz with lovely wood paneling. Reasonable breakfast and dinner. Room clean and adequate for us. Without asking the Guest Card was provided. At the right price point a very economical stay. The reception noted it was my wife’s birthday and a candle and cake was presented at breakfast- much appreciated touch. We would stay here again

Well situated in the middle of town with plenty of parking for cars and motor cycles.

Breakfast table allocated in a different room to the buffet was a bit of a nuisance.

VERY CENTRAL, high ceilings and it had character. clean bedroom and bathroom. half board is great value. we had a lovely soup, salad, main and dessert, all of which we enjoyed
