We had the top floor apartment so the noise from the street was limited. Had an awesome view, bed was good, you felt like at home. One had bowls and utensils so we could enjoy regular yogurt and fruits for breakfast. We really needed something from home. Also, there were two sharp knives which made a huge difference in cutting fruits. These small details made the stay wonderful! Thank you to the owners for including these small yet thoughtful things. Can only recommend! Kids stayed on the second floor and didn’t complain about the street noise. Perfect

The Lighthouse was in a great location, surrounded by markets, boats, cafes and restaurants. But once inside our room it was very quiet and comfortable. A spacious, clean apartment, with air con and a good shower! We were very happy there for two nights. The cafe/ restaurant was very good, and the staff incredibly kind and helpful. Dan organised a floating market tour for us, ( which he accompanied us on as our English speaking guide - v good!) as well as a sunset cruise with a lovely woman. The reception staff, the “doorman”, the waitresses and waiters were all fab! 10 out of 10 for service!

Amazing location, and spotlessly clean. The apartment has a charming style and is very spacious. Even though on fairly busy roads, and sometimes there's a street market just opposite, the double glazed windows make it perfectly quiet enough. It's great to be a few steps from the river, where you can spontaneously hire a boat to the floating market. It's also steps away from local eateries and more upscale restaurants, as well as an indoor market. And of course there is the café just downstairs. There's also a night market one block away for many food options, but for us the hygiene there was questionable.

Nice room in a good location in town. They run an acclaimed European/Vietnamese fusion restaurant at ground level. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Manager/tour guide Dan went out of his way to make sure tour and bus company pick us up when leaving early mornings was super helpful, restaurants upstairs with French people who came for real French food and setting with air con upstairs is good we even got a bottle of wine 🍷 to sit down, deco in room is super comfy and comfy space with armchairs and tea set, house keeping is thoughtful, we’ve joined the hotel’s private tour!

Right besides downstairs is night market which has lights on till 2/3am but luckily windows are double glazing

Great little hotel right in the centre of things with a great cafe downstairs to enjoy and watch world go by. The staff were lovely and the welcome cooling drink was lovely touch. The room was amazing. Very modern and good spec and exceptionally clean! We met lots of other travellers in the cafe which was really great. We were able to leave at 5am no problem as the security guard in reception took the room keys. Thank you to the staff for the welcome. And thank you for the top floor and views over the river. It was incredible.

Everything was great

We booked two rooms, one for myself and my wife and one for our adult son who was travelling with us. Each room had a main lounge/dining room area equipped with Smart TV, sofa, fridge and kitchen, plus bedroom and separate en suite. The rooms were all very clean and modern, and tastefully decorated. Downstairs there is a bar/restaurant which we used for breakfast, which was very pleasant. The Lighthouse is close to the river front, and if you walk along the river front on an evening you are immediately amongst all the bars and restaurants, so it is well located. We asked the staff at the hotel to help book us a river trip and a cycling tour with a local guide, all of which were excellent, and they also helped us to get a taxi to take us on to the next leg of our journey.

The hotel is located on a very busy street corner, so you do need to take care when exiting and entering the building.

Stayed at this hotel recently and it ticked all the boxes for me. The location couldn't be better, right in the city center near the harbor and the lively night market. What I loved most was the privacy. The reception being in the café made check-in seamless, and the discreet entrance to the elevator ensured privacy without compromising safety. The house cleaners were friendly and kept everything spotless. And the bed? Perfectly comfortable. Overall, a great stay. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they arranged bicycle hire for a day for me. Excellent location on the riverside. Extremely clean room that actually looked like the photos, very comfortable, nice shower. My room overlooked the night market so it was quite lively but it made for entertaining people watching and I couldn’t hear anything with my earplugs in. I didn’t book a room with a view of the river but I could see it from the side window.

I spent ages looking at places to stay and so glad we chose the lighthouse. It was centrally located right by the river and market. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. Amazingly no noise (very little) from the market outside. Staff were helpful and friendly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if returned to Can Tho
