Everything about the hotel was good. Although we did not have the opportunity to try the pool and restaurant as attending a wedding I'm sure these must be equally good. We ordered toast in room and bread was superb quality

The manager Mr Ravi Bhardwarj welcomed us personally, upgraded our room, escorted us to our room and always asked if everything was good. Mehul unloaded our luggage from our vehicle and brought it up to our room, always showing professionalism and courtesy. Other staff members that were outstanding were Akansa, Antima, Banashree, Mumna Soni, Nikita, Sandeep, Khushboo and Jeed. Each one made a significant contribution to ensure that our stay was "everything and more" that we expected. The food was well prepared, timely and always tasted good. The portions were very generous!

There was a smell of urine in the bathroom, which was reported to reception and whilst the smell was removed on a couple of occasions - it did return. Clearly the issue was one of plumbing - I hope it is resolved soon. This did not really have too much of an impact on our stay.

The fact that someone at the technical team tried to swipe my card twice inspite of telling them that we will come and pay at the property.That too at 3 am.It got me suspicious and I had to the delete my CC details from the Booking.com app..and the Explanation was too vague at the front desk. For a Chain like Sarovar Portico is was Un expected and Shocking.and No reply even on complaining to Customer Care on the App.

Against all advice, we decided to make Junagadh our base for the Saurashtra trip. While Junagadh city by itself is very poor in terms of infrastructure and general upkeep, this hotel is an absolute gem. I am not a big fan of the Sarovar group but this property is an exception. Excellent and large rooms and great food in the first floor restaurant. The staff is very hard working and try their best to ensure guest comfort.

There is one particular member of the staff who greets you when you go to the terrace restaurant. He will insist that the restaurant does not serve much other than snacks and tit-bits. Its almost as if he does not want guests to dine there. The truth is the opposite. If you scan the menu, they have an excellent set of combos other than the snacks, which, combined with the terrace atmosphere, make this a very unique dining experience. The chef who oversees the preparations really needs to be awarded as the food quality is very good.

Its a lovely plush premier hotel for sure as the name suggests. Excellent staff especially check in personnel Ms.Mehreen who helped us with an early check in. All other staffs were excellent too. Location was great with railway station just around a km away. The check in was very smooth fast and early as mentioned. Room was quite spacious , comfortable and cosy with all amenties and features. Beautiful view of the girnar hills where we did the girnar trek to visit all temples of Ambaji Mata , Gorakhnath Temple , Lord Dattatreya Temple and Dattareya Kund and Akhand Dhuni , We had ordered food and it was excellent too. Everything was top class and we had a calm , peaceful, restful 2 days stay.

The main request I will make with the hotel management is to have breakfast included in the tariiff as when we made booking with booking.,com, we did not get option for breakfast at the rates we paid and we find currently. We are a longtime loyal customer with booking.com and would have appreciated that breakfast be included in our tariff as we had to order separately and pay for the same. Otherwise it was all very good,.

Very clean. Comfortable bedrooms, with a very comfortable bed. Good lighting in rooms.

Reception/front of house staff appeared to look very stressed and were not welcoming or cheerful, none of them smiled! Very slow service at check-out as reception staff were speaking amongst themselves. Certain dishes at breakfast had completely run out, despite us arriving early. Had to ask for refills on three separate occasions. Have to order coffee or tea with waiting staff, and had to wait an awfully long time for it to be served.

Excellent stay at this hotel, very comfortable room with a beautiful view on the Girnar Mount. The photos online are faithful to reality. The staff was welcoming and mindful. I also enjoyed the rooftop, whose food was good, and the SPA which was amazing. They use nice products and delivered a very professional care. Lovely staff there too

The room was definitely clean, but residuals of dust and hair remained on the ground (not in the bathroom though). Those details should not be neglected in a hotel of such standard.

"Our recent stay at the hotel was marred by a series of disappointments, particularly with the service. While enjoying the pool, we inquired if it would be possible to have food served there, as we were quite tired and hungry. Unfortunately, our request seemed to have been forgotten, as we waited for over two hours without any update. When we followed up, the staff member admitted he had neglected to even consult his supervisor. Subsequently, we headed to the downstairs restaurant, only to find that the dish we wanted was unavailable due to a high volume of orders. This series of oversights and a lack of attentive service significantly diminished our overall experience at the hotel."

Excellent value hotel in fascinating Junagadh. We had a very good sized, comfortable room with floor to ceiling window with fantastic views looking out over the old fort (lit up at night). You could see the view from the shower which was cool. Bed super king sized. Hotel overall modern and clean. Staff helped us get a taxi to Sasan Gir.

Breakfast was obviously catering for largely Indian guests so somewhat limited. The rooftop pool is covered so no sunbathing.
