Breakfast was excellent

This one of the better accommodations we had in Germany. It was well equipped, professionally presented and definitely had the best breakfast options. It was well located and we would not mind staying here again in future.

The car park was full at night, as many people came to the restaurant and we had to park in the street. Dedicated parking for guests would be ideal. An elevator for those with many bags that need to go upstairs and at least a fan if there is no air conditioning.

Great restaurant in the evening with extensive menu. Very good breakfast selection. Really good coffee! Friendly staff. Good value. What more do you want? We'll add the lovely surroundings at the foot of the wooded Kranichsberg hill with plenty of walks nearby in the woods, hills and lakes adjoining the hotel. Then a minutes walk across the bridge is charming Wöltersdorf, with cafes and the unmissable historic tram connecting you to the outside world, the S Bahn station at Rahnsdorf (into central Berlin) 15 minutes tram journey away..another great tram a 20 minute bus journey away at Rüdersdorf. I liked this hotel so much I've immediately booked to return in the summer, this time for longer and with my wife (so sadly a lot fewer tram journeys..) Seriously Hotel Kranichsberg is a great choice!

Nice hotel in a great quiet village location yet within one hour of central Berlin by public transport. Perfect! Restaurant & bar in the hotel, fantastic breakfast.

The rooms are excellent in terms of facilities and cleanliness, but lack character. But this is more than made up by Wöltersdorf itself which is full of character (hopefully the old trams are not all replaced!)

Perfectly located close to the end of the tram line and close to the boat lock and lakes. Very pleasant hotel restaurant with lift to save struggling up stairs with luggage. Had a decent sized rear room which was quiet and comfortable. Impressive buffet breakfast although as is often the case a bit limited for vegans. A nice big terrace area for open air dining, the kitchen tweaked the asparagus special to veganise it which was excellent with some very good wines and service. A bigger range of vegan options on the menu would be great.

No in room drinks facilities (my biggest annoyance when staying in most places in Germany). I struggled with the shower which veered from tolerable to either scorching or freezing, I assume that it was affected by water use elsewhere in the hotel? A very good buffet breakfast although increasing the vegan friendly options would be good for everyone. The Wifi was really not good, it required a password free login and kept dropping out and requiring a re-login.

Nice small hotel with a very friendly staff and good breakfast. Only stayed one night.

The one bed room was rather small.

Peaceful and clean with excellent food and drink. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful

I would have liked an additional harder pillow.

Hotel placed in beautiful nighberhood. Outside there are a lake, park, attractive water lock. Service is OK. Breakfest were tasty. But if you come late you may have problem with parking as there are very few parking places around.

Decent size room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Very pretty location between two lakes. Close to the terminus of a tram line operated by lovely vintage cars, which connects with an S-bahn station that has frequent services to central Berlin. Both run late, so an evening in Berlin would easily be possible.
