Nice old house right opposite the train station. I slept well for a short night in the "budget room" after a badly delayed train trip (due to the "Olympic vandals"). Very late checkin worked with a keycard box. Room was renovated, bed and shower comfortable enough. Air conditioning worked reasonably, but was not adjustable if I did not miss it.

In my top floor room there was a, quite slight, "old building smell". One could open the window but that wouldn't work wit the air conditioning very well.

Lovely clean spacious room right across from station, perfect for short stop over while travelling by train. The staff member or owner on reception was lovely and carried my bag upstairs which was very kind as no lift at hotel.

It surpassed expectations, everything was good (needs a higher star rating in my opinion). only thing I would add is a kettle as I like to make my own coffee in the morning.

Do not judge a book by its cover! Looking from the steps of the station the hotel looked a little shabby but opening the door there was nothing shabby about it. Beautifully renovated with an extremely helpful owner/manager - including carrying two suitcases up to the rooms, our stay was really great. Great location across from the station. Well soundproofed windows and comfortable bed leading to a great night's sleep. Easy walking to the canal du midi running through the town as well as a good range of shops and eateries in the area. To cap it off they looked after two of our suitcases when we packed light for a week of cruising on the canal. We came back to the same welcome. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in establishing a touring base for this part of France.

Nice welcome and helpful staff, rooms a bit on the small side, toilet had limited space but it was all clean and practical. A 15 minute walk into town revealed a beautiful square, Canal walks and an abundance of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Shopping area also just off square. Hotel opposite railway station, no noise emanated from it as our room faced it and we slept well. A great town to explore, the Hotel was in a “less affluent” area but had it’s charm. Local supermarket for essentials a few yards around the corner.

Parking was on street and you took your chance, a tad concerned as we were on motorbikes. Nothing bad to say about hotel at all. You get what you pay for, it was all good.

The great location across from the train station is why we chose it. The host was great, accommodated my request for a low floor since I’m on crutches, and there is no elevator. He even carried my bag upstairs which was wonderful. The room was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed.

There was little sound barrier from the next room. We could hear the TV and conversation next door. Also, the sound of the neighbor showering and gargling woke me up in the morning because I thought she was in our bathroom. Also it was great to have a hair dryer, but there was no outlet in the bathroom. And no mount for the shower head - hand held only. Overall would still recommend.

Perfect location directly opposite the Station. Spacious and very comfortable room on second floor. Very welcoming and kind assistance from the receptionist, Walid. A simple buffet breakfast was provided and served, again by Walid.

There isn’t a lift, however as mentioned, the receptionist was extremely helpful with the carrying of cases.

Lovely modern room with clearly new furniture - such a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious. Literally across the road from the train station.

It’s an old building, so no lift and a steep staircase to get your luggage up and down. It’s right on the main road so it’s noisy. The bathroom wasn’t as well appointed as the bedroom.

Proximity to the station although the area wasn't great and at first we thought that the hotel looked a bit crummy, but once inside it was fine and the male receptionist was very welcoming and helpful as he took our cases to the room. In fact it was near cafés and a Carrefour City which was very helpful as we hadn't booked breakfast.

The stair carpet was poor and stained and let the rest of the hotel down. The shower was also not good and not easy to get a good spray.

Great location, 10 minute walk to the old town, across the road from train station. Checked in early, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean, updated bathroom, comfortable bed (booked superior room). If the opportunity to return came up, would stay here again. Rating needs to be increased from 2 star
