Good dining options and walking distance to Kate’s Point. Our room with a bed on one floor and a sofa bed in the loft were perfect for two friends. This room type also feels spacious due to its height. And the big balcony overlooking the lawn and the Krishna Valley sides with seating furniture for a group of eight, including an external dining table was great. The receptionist gave us this room upgrade in the newly constructed building as we stayed mid-week.

Similar rooms in the older adjoining building had a stale smell, probably from paint:varnish. The walls in the common area within the building also had faded paint and damp patches. Mildly shocked at the lack of maintenance. And it’s not as if the monsoon with it ls heavy rains had just ended. Some rooms in both buildings do not have the kind of view we had-they faced other buildings within the resort. For the price we paid for our room, I would have been quite unhappy to stay in these other rooms/old building. I don’t know what room types and views they had in a few other buildings within the resort. I will carefully get all room details before booking there the next time, though prospective guests won’t have this choice during weekends/peak season.

Breakfast menu was great. Food was exceptional & staff was equally courteous towards it. Duplex Room was very good. Games & pool facilities are a boon for kids and all. Restaurant has nice scenic view. NIcely managed property.

Duplex rooms give a mixed feeling of townhouse or rented apartment and outdoor sitting arrangement could be improved towards privacy. Room selected was labeled as Poolside but it takes two stairs to be walked down/up to reach the pool & not easy access. .Slightly misleading. Also check In/Out times are little odd and with a whole 4 hours window period of cleanUp. That doesn't feel right. should be like others or average of 2 hrs should be fine.

I recently stayed at Brightland Resort and Spa and had a truly wonderful experience. All the staff members were extremely helpful, polite, and cooperative throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Despite being a large resort, the service was impressively quick and efficient. Every request was attended to promptly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Brightland Resort and Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

The only downside was the approach road to the resort. Although it’s narrow but manageable, the road is in very poor condition and really needs repair work. Improving this would make the overall experience even better.

The resort is nice, well maintained and the rooms are comfortable. The rooms we booked were large, spacious (great for family with kids). The view from the resort are great. The resort is well maintained and the staff are courteous, friendly and quick to respond to your requests. They have a separate arcade, playstation room/ theatre and a separate play area for the kids. The spa is good but busy. You need to set up appointment right after checking in to get slots. The massage therapists are great. Overall, a very well maintained spa.

The resort could be a bit more wheelchair/ accessible friendly for senior citizens. There are a lot of stairs and the lifts are set up such that there is a lot of walking involved. More ramps at all places would help to sort this issue. The parking is very tight for cars but that is something that can be easily sorted.

The Maple Room was the best. Most spacious. Clean and modern room.

The Oak Sweet is a complete waste of money. The bathroom area is bigger than the room and the 4 coaster bed, extra high is useless. There is a 'private sit out' which is at the most busy corridor. So basically it's like you're sitting in a waiting room with people continuously passing.

The views were amazing from the resort. The resort is also quite lovely.The food was good. Breakfast variety was awesome. Staff were very polite and helpful. I really appreciated the birthday decorations in our room when we walked in, without us even asking for it. It was a nice touch. The jacuzzi is nice.

The resort needs to have more connecting elevators because there are too many steps from the room to the restaurant/pool/lounge/spa and may not be senior citizen/baby friendly. The electricity connection keeps going off multiple times and the switch between generators to mains takes a while leading to AC/wifi going off multiple times in the room which is annoying. The pool isn't temperature controlled so the water was freezing and we couldn't really use the pool at all. It is important to control pool temperatures especially in a cold place like Mahabaleshwar.

Overall a fantastic experience, this resort has everything for the perfect weekend getaway. Definitely the best place in Mahabaleshwar at this price point. Service, facilities, food, ambience, activities for kids, everything was top-class! We have already planned to come here again with friends.

The approach road should be better maintained. The hotel is around 1.5 kms from the nearest main road, with no shops around. Restaurant prices were on the higher side. Make sure your room does not have a view of the hutments nearby!!

The breakfast buffet offered a commendable selection of both Indian and Western cuisines. Highlights included an array of fresh, hot idlis and dosas, alongside Western favorites such as pancakes, French toast, and croissants. Additional options such as dal pakwan, cereals, and customizable egg dishes catered to diverse preferences. The à la carte menu further complemented the dining experience with a satisfying variety of Indian, Continental, and Asian dishes. The view from our room was beautiful.

Because of bad weather, the hotel grounds looked a bit messy when we arrived. We had to move rooms, but there was construction noise next door. The hotel was really busy, so the game rooms were crowded. It would be nice if the hotel had more space for these areas.

Best location, good view from the rooms, best and quick service, courteous staff, clean rooms, absolutely delicious food, great hangout zones within the resort, play areas, activities for every age group, and disabled-friendly infrastructure.

The property and stay pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The service was responsive and better then most I have experienced in far more expensive hotels. The food was also excellent!

Nothing was amiss really. If I have to point out something that they can improve... it would only be more effective heaters for the pool.
