What we like the most was the staff, they were really helpful, very friendly and humble. The property was nice, as per the value of the money. The manager was so nice that also allowed us to swim in another chain hotel from them as the swimming pool wasn't so clean there. The pool was much bigger and cleaner than the other property.

What we didn't like was the creepy security guy, who seems to be drunk/sick, all the time. Though I am not sure but always felt very creepy. Also, they could have maintained the property much nicer by only clean the basic things, like the mirrors in the room, benches near the pool, keeping normal towels not torn ones. Small little matters and make big difference.

The room I was given was dark and claustrophobic with no opening window and no balcony. Raja Park is generally a bit soulless compare to Akhil. I therefore asked to be moved to a different room and after some discussion they moved me to the Akhil, which was where I'd wanted to stay anyway (I've been there several times over many years) but had been told no rooms were available. The new room had no AC but that was not a biggie for me. Result - happy customer. The staff were excellent and did work to solve the issues. I had a nice stay there, as always, it's got a lot of greenery with a fantastic pool and attentive but unobtrusive staff. But I'm still puzzled as to why I was told in December that only expensive cottages were available at Akhil.

rooms were not checked before we arrived so AC was not working, fan neither had to change room , then TV was missing plus some plug issues. Pool area was not well maintained neither, toilets, changing rooms dirty , no mattress, towels on sun beds. have asked several times for the manager but he did not appear to clarify our complaints. too expensive overall and a bad experience.

No ventilation inside the room, also in the common area people are drinking and shouting through out the night. It was super uncomfortable to stay there with family.

Service. Room was okay, but very basic for the price we payedWe had checkout time 11.00 but the knocked already on the door at 10: checkout! My friend was gone with the key. The hotel had no extra key. No coffee or tea. Nothing. Pool was rundown.girl at reception tried het best level, but so many things were not good.

- Rooms are nothing like the deceptive images on booking sites. - Tiny, cramped spaces pass off as "rooms." - Forget about any dining options; you're on your own for meals. - Receptionists are painfully clueless, showing zero interest in your concerns. - The swimming pool is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, an absolute hygiene disaster.

Location

We booked for a deluxe room but on arrival they shifted us to a different resort (Akhil beach resort) opposite to this property. We booked for delux AC pool veiw room but what we got is a basic room. The rooms we stayed are not cleaned at all and poorly maintained with broken furniture, switchboard and dirty bed sheets and blankets. Other than the beds, there is nothing in the room. No TV, fridge, phone, or any broushers or instructions about resort facilities or restaurants. They didn't even provide wifi password and pool towels without asking. The room service is pathetic and the pool closed at 6 pm. The parking they provided is in the place were they dump the resort wastes. The reason they said for changing the resort is due to pool maintenance but I think they shifted because of lack of guests and made 2 rooms available which look like it is closed for a long time.
