The staff are the standouts of this hotel, being friendly and personable. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The breakfast that was included with the room was also good, particularly the make-yourself waffles. Overall, the hotel provided a good experience, and good value for money, much better than its nearby competitor where I had stayed on a previous occasion at a similar price.

The in-room air conditioner was fairly noisy.

Checking in was great Woody the person who checked us in was very helpful in getting are room changed to Handicap accessible which made things a lot easier for my wife especially with the walk in shower. You should be happy to have a guy like Woody working for you.

The Wi-Fi needs to be addressed in a number of areas: the certificate was outdated, and there were significant issues getting logged in. I don't believe this is something that the local proprietor arranges so I'm not pinging the Ex more location, but the Security and Capacity issue needs to be addressed ASAP. This may be a parent company issue to fix.

There is a large area with comfy chairs and tables next to check in that you can use to gather with friends and family. Played board games (ours) after dinner with Grandkids.

Pricey for usual motel. Location on way to NC beaches drives cost up I guess. Also pool area did not have tables and chairs.

food was not replenished right away. We came in around for breakfast around 9am during our second day of stay. The food was almost done. It was not replenished right away so had to wait a little to get food.

Breakfast was good better than I expected. However, the toilet was not chair height and difficult to use. A hole in the floor would have been better.

Convience of half way point for our trip to the obx

Bed was very hard, no tissues, no mirror in the room outside of bathroom and the shampoo in the shower was watery. Room was bare bones not cozy and comfy.

Staff is exceptional!! Yvette, the AGM, is terrific.

No AC in hallway on 3rd floor. Stayed in the end of July 2024, was same then, fans in hallway, no AC. No cookies baked at front desk like other Hampton Inns.

The pets running around without a lease. As I walked down the hall I was scratched by a dog paws as he ran up on me.

I never have an issues with this hotel when I come back home to visit. Staff is always polite and very courteous

I didn’t like a key was given to my daughter without my knowledge or someone calling to confirm with me because I checked in alone and because someone knew my name and room number a key should not have been issued because if this wasn’t my daughter they would have given a key to my room to a complete stranger.
