The Onley Inn has a very congenial location in the heart of Virginia's Eastern Shore, and close to the main highway. The room was very quiet - except for a passing dog in the early evening, which wasn't a problem. I'm just noting that I heard it outside the room briefly.

The bathtub did not have a secure surface. It was slippery, so I felt the need to hold on to the safety bar, which is awkward in itself when one is using a shower. Commercially available anti-slip stickers of various designs are readily available, so the motel management should obtain them, since the surface is the worst place in the motel room to have a falling accident.

The suite was spacious with a living room, bedroom and bathroom. There was plenty of lighting in each area including the vanity space which was separate from the bathroom. We will definitely stay at Onley Inn again.

They didn't offer a continental breakfast. We were provided a list of local restaurants that offered discounts, which gave us a wider selection of local cuisine.

It was close to what we were in Onley for and just a few miles away from other places as well.

The property was very damp I the room. Also, I have allergies to certain toilet paper, so I brought my own. Upon returning from the day”s activities, my toilet paper I brought was SOAKING WET??? Like it had been dumped in the toilet….. Was this because I brought my own? We had the room serviced, my thought was it may have been a swipe to the cleaning staff? Just allergies to certain things, that’s why I ALWAYS bring my own stuff. Please don’t take this personally.

It was on the first floor and had easy access

I didn’t like the fact that my room was not cleaned and fresh towels were put in my room, the nice lady housekeeper did give me clean towels after I asked

The lady at the front desk was awesome. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a great list of places that gave us discounts for staying with them!!!

location was great. Room was clean. Parking was adequate, and seemed safe.

Room was minimally equipped. There were just enough towels for one person. There was items to make coffee, but nothing to heat water with. No breakfast and only coffee in lobby.

Breakfast was not included. But There is a McDonald's and a diner nearby where you can have breakfast or dinner

There was a coffee set in the room, but no coffee maker or kettle for heating water.

The Onley Inn is a good place to stay. It is clean, comfortable and conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The check in/out staff were efficient and made us feel welcome.

No breakfast was offered. Excellent selection of teas. Brightly lit grounds at night when walking my dogs. Nicely decorated lobby. Linda checked to see disability room was open for occupancy. We have reservations in November.

Low toilet-inappropriate for disabled room; Water ran from shower into bathroom floor creating a fall risk.

Garry provided exceptional customer service and is definitely working toward continued improvements to this location. Great central location within a half hour of the beaches and the bridge tunnel to Virginia Beach. Rooms are slightly dated but very clean. Hotel discounts for local restaurants and attractions a nice money saving touch.
