Easy to deal with. Location was excellent. Price was excellent. Peaceful with no disturbances.

Trash piled up outside at the trash area on the edge of parking lot. The pool not being in use. I understand we were early season so maybe that was why the pool was not in use, but other motels and hotels in Chincoteague had their pools open and people were in them. My girlfriend loves pools and was disappointed that the pool was empty and not in use. Also their was a terrible fly problem in our room. Ironically there was a fly swatter left in the room under the TV in the TV cabinet which lead me to believe this is an on going issue. I killed flies continually during the stay and they just kept appearing from somewhere.

I liked the idea of the pool.. but we never went because it was not working.

There was hair in the sheets. We tore them all off and threw them in a corner. They did NOT look cleaned. I had to go and clean the entire room. There were areas that have clearly not been cleaned in years that I had cleaned and it was disgusting. I had to clean the shower and all. The shower curtain looked like it hasn’t been replaced in years. The dressers had chips out of them. There were flies everywhere but this time of year that is relatively normal so it was not that big of a deal, we just dealt with the flies. The washer and dryer were out of service. The pool was out of service. Granted, stuff happens, could’ve been coincidence but there was no effort in getting the washer and dryer fixed. There was also mold in the bathroom 🤦🏼‍♀️. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Staff was great. It's quiet even for the summer days. Great location. Pool was clean for a older model motel. It's not a 5 star place but I would give it 5 stars for as old as the place is.

I think a few things could be up grade or kept up. Yard was nice and big but picnic tables were broken. The out side railings could use some maintenance. Room walls need a little TLC.

Great spot for viewing the fireworks and attending the local carnival. Cozy & clean.

Desk clerk literally started the job immediately before we arrived. So he was struggling to learn the job as guests arrived. He did his best, but the owner/ manager should have been on site. But phone calls to the manager were answered and issues resolved quickly and fairly.

Just a old motel that could use some updating but staff was great and attentive very accommodating and attentive our ac stopped working they were there with in a hour and had it fixed

The room was a good size. Location was good.

The caulking around the bathtub was black with mold. First night water was warm. The second night I had a ice cold shower. Water problem needs taken care of considering there was not that many people there. The third night I got a hot shower. Room 4 and 5

Comfortable beds. Nice staff. Quiet. Liked pool.

Floor was damaged but the staff said it was to have new flooring put in after we checked out. Needs new stove since only one burner worked.

Location was excellent. Quiet atmosphere. A few things could be improved on/ the lounges at the pool should be replaced. Good place to get some needed rest.

This place is right next to the fireman's carnival. Which made it convenient to just walk on over and come back to our room when we needed to. Also it's a very big parking lot big enough to bring your boat.

The picnic area needs to be cleaned up.

Everyone I've met or spoken to are so very nice and helpful.

Small maintenance issues in the room. The air conditioner cover kept falling off. I was relaxing, watching TV and it just fell off... boom! Startled me!!! It continued to fall pff. The vent in the bathroom worked the first 2 nights, but not the 3rd.
