The price was good. The room was nice. Not real big but it worked fine. The pool looked very nice and the BBQ area seemed very nice.

Because they allow dogs ( I am a dog love but did not take my dog this trip) there was dog hair on sheets and around room. Also had a closed in musty smell. But not really bad.

Loved staying here! We arrived late in the evening and staff was extremely friendly. Room was clean and smelled wonderful. Room was basic but it was all we needed. Shower was a little confusing at first but we figured it out quickly. Shower had good pressure! Beds were clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave worked well. They had an adorable gift bag for us for staying with them. They did make it known in 2025 they are doing major upgrades and changing the name. Breakfast was from the restaurant next door. Drinks and pastries were delicious! Traffic was busy but it was around round up so we didn't mind, just keep in mind it's on the main straight away. Close to the beach and everything. Would gladly stay again!

Parking was tight and awkward at times depending on how others parked but we made it work.

Breakfast was excellent. Close to rooms and very tasty. The rooms were economically priced, walking distance to downtown restaurants , stores and parks. The room accommodations were adequate. The furniture was dated but had everything we needed. The motel is under new ownership and modernization projects are under way. The more modern hotels downtown are priced 2-3 times more. This location answered all our needs. I would definitely stay again especially after modernization is finished.

The room was exactly what we needed for a few nights stay. It was very clean and put together when we arrived. The location was walking distance to local stores, bakeries, etc. and staff were very polite and friendly. Also a short drive to the main beach. We also received breakfast vouchers for the local bakery next door, which was very nice! I would recommend this inn to others and would stay here again.

We didn’t have a chance to use the pool that was available on the property as it is very small and was always occupied.

Daily free coffee and pastry from an amazing bakery next door! Housekeeper was so kind and helpful!! The pool was well maintained and never crowded. Enjoyed quiet time there every day.

Facility needs updates which are planned in the near future. Parking lot is gravel which is difficult when travelling by motorcycle however the owner did offer us an option to park near the office (but was a good bit away form our room). In room or in office coffee would be a big plus!!

I must confess, my previous experiences at similar hotels left much to be desired. However, this time, I was pleasantly surprised and chose to remain silent no longer. The experience exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The rooms were impeccably clean and cozy, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast at Amari was a delight, with delicious offerings that left us thoroughly satisfied. Even our furry friend, our dog, gave their paw of approval to this wonderful establishment.

Don't let the price scare you away! This was a cute little place, yes it was dated but we knew that going into it. We really didn't expect too much for the price and our expectations were exceeded. When we arrive we were given a little goody bag with brochures for local businesses, and a bag of popcorn and mints. No breakfast isn't "included" but we were also given breakfast vouchers for the coffee shop next door good for a free coffee and pastry of choice for each of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Besides it being dated (which we knew before we booked) and I understand renovations are in the future, there really isn't anything we didn't like

Fantastic location, simple accommodations. Friendly front desk staff. I left a dog toy behind accidentally and they reached out to me to let me know that they were holding onto it if it was a favorite and I needed to get it back!

There were 3 or more solid air fresheners in the room, and I put all of them outside, they were TOOOO much. They made it hard to breathe for me. The room was fine without them.

We loved the location, price, and the pool. The room was just what we needed for a family of 4 that included 2 teenage boys. It was nicely tucked away and the pool was always clean and open. We stayed here last year and decided to come back this year because we all loved it here so much. We enjoy going to Chincoteague Beach so the location and price was great.

The only thing I'd say we disliked was the electric flickered a lot in our room, but everything stayed on and it didn't bother us much. We were understanding that they were under new management and were in the process of making changes/renovations.
