We have stayed here several times and it is probably the only place we'll ever stay at Chincoteague. We love the view of the water and the pool is great. We got to see a Tomex rocket launch from Wallops Island, a perfect view from our balcony. The staff is always so friendly and the rooms are very clean. The roses are amazing and well maintained, too.

I really can't think of anything negative at all.

We were accommodated in the condo across the street, so with more space for our family we could still access the pool and dock. The daily breakfast was a big hit with the kids--who knew waffles every day could be so joy filled? Each person on staff was friendly and helpful.

Our pool umbrella was broken, but there was a good response to try and replace/repair it. Maybe some more umbrellas available outside of the table areas would help. Sun gets hot if folks want to hang by the pool for a longer period of time.

I wish they explained what their “grab and go” breakfast meant at check in. I went down to the lobby the morning after with vouchers for me and my fiancé thinking I was just going to pick up two brown bags of food like what most places do when they do “grab and go.” But instead I had to make several different breakfast selections for me and my partner and then attempt to carry it all back up to the room alone. Had I been told at check in about the breakfast spread, my partner and I would have gone down together. It was a nice selection of food (waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc), but I couldn’t carry meals back easily for two which was aggravating.

We loved the room view, a “sea view” queen), the bed was super comfy, the location to some shops and restaurants was convenient. Our room was quiet, clean and well arranged, a sofa and big arm chair added to the appeal. The Waterside has a private pier for fishing or just relaxing. The breakfasts were grab and go. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We hope to return next year!

No hot water in the breakfast room for tea, and breakfast was for take out only, due to covid restrictions. The rug in our room needs a good shampooing!

The room had a view of the gorgeous sunset, bay, and channel bridge. The king-size bed and pillows were comfortable. The mini fridge and microwave came in handy and breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, mini waffles) was delicious. The outside deck and pool would be appealing if it wasn't late fall and cold. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We love this place. The view from the room balcony is wonderful. The pool is also great. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is nice, too. We have stayed here for several years when we visit Chincoteague.

Sometimes, there is a little dampness in the room just because the hotel is on the water. I doubt this can be helped.

We had a great stay at the Waterside Inn! Rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. The swimming pool was well maintained, and the view outside was great! Breakfast was good and the staff was great, thank you!

We had the privacy sign hung on the door knob, however Housekeeping did enter the room when we weren't there. We preferred that they not enter, but not a big deal. Thank you!

Staff was super nice. Cooked breakfast right in front of us! The lady let us check in early and was super nice and talkative. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Room was super nice and clean. We got the sea view and it was beautiful!

Everything was excellent

I enjoyed the breakfast. Having eggs, sausage, and waffles each morning was nice. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly.

I paid for an upgrade to a room with a water view but based on how the property sits, I feel like most rooms have a water view.

We love the location of this hotel and the water views are beautiful. We love the pool right next to the water, too. They have a great pier. They also have a good breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and the cleaning crew does a great job.

I really can't complain about anything. This is a great establishment.
