I unexpectedly had to come alone. The hotel provided an incredibly clean environment and a very safe environment. My view was absolutely lovely; they staff was supportive and helpful, and the housekeeper was attentive. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was incredible, so delicious. The woman and gentleman that provided breakfast service were so friendly and made sure everything was fresh and that I had no one had any needs. I became spoiled during my visit! I checked in stressed and left wanting to stay longer!

The view and location were awesome, right on the bay. Walkways and other outdoor spaces for relaxing were great, as was the balcony. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was ok, the usual fake eggs, waffles, with meat, biscuits, hash browns, and gravy, a variety of breads, coffee, and juices. I would have liked some options more geared towards healthier breakfast like Greek yogurt, whole grain breads, etc.

For a two-star older hotel, this place is in good shape. We lived the location, the balcony, and the breakfast. There's also an outdoor pool open until 11 PM, an indoor pool, and a gym. There's supposedly a hot tub as well, but we didn't see where it was. The room was large, and the basic necessities were all there.

It is an older hotel, so things like furniture and decor are a bit outdated. Plastic cups, instead of glasses, very small and thin pool towels, no place to fill up a water bottle (though there is a vending machine). Also, would have liked a small table on the balcony, a bedstand on the other side of the bed, and definitely more convenient outlets. For instance, there was no option to plug in my phone near the bed.

The location on the bay is amazing. All rooms have a water view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has an amazing gym. Although not on the main strip, it was within walking distance of a few favorite places (Amarin for coffee and croissants. Yum).

The hotel is a bit dated, however, it is kept in great shape and very clean. I could hear every step the people above me took because the floors were very creaky. Since it is an older facility the outlets to charge electronics weren't in the best locations, not a deal breaker, but a minor inconvenience.

The view was spectacular. The room and deck were very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and all of the surroundings. Breakfast was very good. TV and internet worked fine. Bed was comfortable. It was nice having a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. We enjoyed coming back to our little slice of heaven after our daily activities such as boating, swimming, biking, dining out, etc. We did not want to leave.

We are used to grab bars in our shower at home so we missed that and we had to be extra careful while taking a shower. My husband would have preferred a higher toilet. But, these minor inconveniences will not prevent us from returning to this lovely hotel.

The location, the beautiful views and the privacy of not seeing other guests while sitting and relaxing on our balcony. We felt like it was our own personal hide away to relax and enjoy the views without the interference of others on their balcony’s as well.

The fact that they were not accommodating to us renting a golf cart to enjoy the island. We were told we absolutely could charge it and without worry, then once we did we were told we couldn’t plug it in because we couldn’t block the accesses that were close to where to plug in. THANKFULLY we had a friend on the island who let us plug in at her place or we would have been in a jam. We wouldn’t have rented it had we known it was going to pose a problem.

friendly staff; room was clean and in order; very comfortable bed; great view with convenient location. unfortunately had to leave a day early due to a personal issue and they were very accommodating. Will return .

would have appreciated a microwave in room for early morning tea and late night snack. had refrigerator. not enough to discourage me to return.

We love to stay at this resort. It has an old school "home" vibe. The accommodations are not high tech or modern but the feel is always comfort and "at home". We love the breakfast that they offer, the staff asked every morning if we needed anything while they cleaned our room, and everything was kept extremely tidy and clean. My child loved the accessibility to fishing. This is our favorite place to stay on the island!

I only wish the room had a microwave.

The room had a lot of open space and very comfortable. The balcony view was breathtaking! Staff was very friendly when we arrived and checked out. Ms. Becky in the breakfast cafe was excellent! Very accommodating, had the cafe super clean and provided whatever was needed. You arrived as a visitor and at the end of your visit she was your friend. Breakfast was the highlight of our trip along with the view. Will definitely return to Island Resort! One of our favorite places to stay.
