Felt safe, room was clean and comfortable. Had issue with toilet and was taken care of quickly. Close to everything that you can walk! Price was reasonable, especially in comparison to other places in area.

Either after the work on the toilet or the cleaning person did their daily care of room, I got back and noticed my suitcase zipper had been opened. I usually take all important stuff with me, but it made me feel like I couldn't trust anyone going into our room again and kept tag on door to keep everyone away!

Good location, Walking distance to boardwalk. Well priced accomodation. Friendly staff. Large pool with lots of tables and chairs. Daily delicious hot breakfast.Many restaurants nearby. Washer and dryer available. State Henderson Beach is the best we have ever visited ( and we live in Florida).

Dark, humid room was large, well furnished.July weather meant towels and bathing suits never dried in room. Room was serviced daily but floor needed cleaning as was gritty. Heavy traffic in area is non-ending. Leave plenty of time to get anywhere.

A great option for a stay in Destin. We were happy to find a pet-friendly place, and the price was quite reasonable, even for an overnight stay with a pet. The Queen room with 2 separate beds was clean and spacious enough. The bathroom was a little dated, and the fridge had a strange chemical smell, but overall, it's a great value for what you get in such a touristy area. Check-in and check-out were easy and quick. The staff was wonderful! Very lovely people! Also, the complimentary American breakfast was fine. My husband didn't like it, but I did 😁 Anyway, it's good that it was there rather than missing. We were traveling and stayed here again on our return trip, and the room was much better. The fridge worked perfectly (no odor). It was a non-smoking King room with a king-size bed, so I think that's the best option.

Coffee is available all day and night, and there are pamphlets to guide you toward fun local activities, from the boardwalk to nearby restaurants. It’s not overly fancy, but there’s a nostalgic, movie-like charm to it. The pool is definitely the star of the show, and the location is within walking distance to many attractions. It also feels safe, with a restaurant conveniently located right next door—just be aware that it closes early. Pro tip: This town tends to shut down early, so be sure to stock up on drinks and snacks. Luckily, there are stores within walking distance, making this inn the perfect shabby-chic, flexible, budget-friendly gem.

The room was clean and comfortable, though a cleaning rag was accidentally left behind. The door lock could use an upgrade, and adding a bottom door safeguard or trim might help improve security and insulation. The soda machine by the pool could definitely use an update—it took my money a few times, although I was reimbursed once. More poolside pillows, especially water-resistant couch-style ones, would be a great touch. Also, some insect repellent measures (for flies and mosquitoes) would go a long way in improving the outdoor comfort.

It’s centered in the perfect spot for quick access to many restaurants, shops of all kinds, the beach, the marina and more within walking distance. Aside from the relation to the touristy stuff, the property itself is quite nice. The rooms, 2 bed, were nice and updated with iron and hairdryer. And the pool area is the perfect spot to get together.

The only con would be the shower, specifically the tub. Wasn’t the cleanest but overall nothing to complain about for the price and days stayed.

Stayed one time on room in back and couldn’t sleep because bar behind it was incredible loud And still going at 1:00.

Our room was clean, everything was in order, the staff was very friendly and, at my request, our stay was extended without any problems for another night.

Evenning pool time was a little uncomfortable with unruly young adults in the pool area drinking alcohol, using strong profanity and arguing. I believe the hotel may benefit from having staff do a check of pool area occasionally for unsafe behavior such as this given the pool is directly connected to the main office.

Location, location, location! You are literally across the street from where all the action is, and you're not paying the crazy resort prices. This is an adorable property with everything you need at an amazing price.

The staff just never smiled once. All young and inexperienced when it comes to hospitality. They weren't rude in any way but to take this place to the next level, some front desk training would go a long way!

It was great, and the location was perfect. Staff and the room keepers were very very nice and always had fresh linens for us even if we didn’t need room service they always check and we will definitely stay at the Village Inn at your Destin Location again! The pool area was amazing! Thank you for being very sweet humans and just making this place amazing and welcoming!

The faucet in the bathroom in shower was kind of broke but we figured it out, it just needs to be replaced so the shower handle can just be lifted and used! Great room overall!! Thank you again!!
